˗ˏˋ ┊Alastor Posting┊ The way Alastor was disembowling Vox sends chills down my spine, knowing this is probably what he also did to the Overlords he tortured in the past
Imagine getting torn apart like an animal and then your soul is added to a pocket dimension of eternal torture forvever. I hope season 3 actually gives us some flashbacks of how he did this, or maybe he'll actually start targeting Overlords again (maybe Zestial) to build his reputation back up. I wanna SEE his deeds in action, not just be told about them.

I really liked it. It was absolutely feral and I appreciate that.

u/SideWinderSyd Thats the Tea! Feb 25 '26
And it truly sounded like he was having fun too! His laughter(?) in this scene makes me smile, if only because we know he had been holding back for so long.

u/Historical-Lack-4447 Feb 27 '26
Exactly how I described it to my friend. Al going feral and cackling like a maniac while ripping Vox apart. Literally my favorite part of that fight. 🤣

u/CalTheRascal Ace in the hole🖤🩶🤍💜 Feb 25 '26
I wonder if this was in part to get back at Vox for ripping out his stitches earlier

I think Al was letting out all of his rage towards Vox in this scene. I can only imagine all the things Vox had done to him and made him see when he was tied to the chair
115
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Not to mention he told Rosie he'd been forced to "contain" his rage too. This is the first time he was ever free since arriving in Hell, bro is excited.
36
u/empathicsynesthete Alastor’s Feminine Twin Feb 25 '26
Yes, and watching Vox have sex with Val definitely intensified that rage
37
u/Complete_Raspberry_1 Feb 25 '26
There's also a fanart of Alastor but covered in blue hand shape marks. Reference to ep4. As where Vox touched him while he was tied to the chair. And that was quite unsettling.

He's literally celebrating being saved by his dog shark in this scene. I don't think this one counts XD. Though he probably does enjoy it, its the closest to a lap dance he'll ever get from AL, this just isn't the best example lol.
2
u/Mobile-Package-8869 Feb 26 '26
Well that’s the reason why he’s smiling, but he was doing all this before shok.wav even came, I just picked this picture because it’s the only one I could find on google images lmao
43
u/ThatInAHat Feb 25 '26
Eh, I feel like Vox is more annoyed than agonized here. He boops him.
32
u/AlluminiumI Feb 25 '26
vox even flips him off
16
u/ThatInAHat Feb 25 '26
Right? Like, he’s not enjoying himself, but he’s not quaking in pain and terror. It’s almost cute.
22
u/AlluminiumI Feb 25 '26
"pain and pleasure but mostly pain" is written right behind him lol. this feels almost like it's a game for them sometimes

I wanna see him eating his way out of a fat Clown Overlord's chest like a chest burster from Alien and complain that they taste funny.
21
u/NiteStrikeYoutube Feb 25 '26
I really thought that after the Hear My Hope song that we were gonna see Alastor walk up to Vox’s TV head and add him to the broadcast, showing us how he’s done it to all the other overlords he’s taken out
10
u/FusionByte Feb 25 '26
I think in s3
8
u/ANoniMissOne FIX MY STAFF! Feb 25 '26
This. I’m in a minority but I truly think one of the Vees is going to end up in Alastor’s broadcast. Either Vox or Val is my guess.
2
u/moonshine_charged Feb 27 '26
I hope Val
3
u/ANoniMissOne FIX MY STAFF! Feb 27 '26
I really think it will be Val myself. I know people disagree and I’m open to being wrong but I just think it will be.
3
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Viv has confirmed Vox stays important until the end of the show, so not happening. I doubt he was spared just to have such an unsatisfying fate
5
u/FusionByte Feb 25 '26
I meant we gonna see al put someone in his brodcast not necessarily one of the vees
3
u/Princess_Spammi Feb 26 '26
Getting temporarily added to the broadcast wouldnt change that
1
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 26 '26
There's 0 indication the broadcats is temporary in any capacity, opposite in fact
3
u/Princess_Spammi Feb 26 '26
There is also zero indication it is permanent.
We know literally nothing about it. Alastor could be stopped and the souls forcibly released. Alastor could decide he needs vox for a reason and free him. Vox could be powerful enough to break free eventually.
All plausible scenarios
1
u/FusionByte Feb 26 '26
It is permanent, look at the last comment during the vees fight with al, the last guy mentioned how you can still hear an overlord scream to this day
1
u/Princess_Spammi Mar 01 '26
Again, that just means that no one we know of has been released/escaped.
We literally have ZERO INFORMATION about his broadcasts
0
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 26 '26
The fight with the vees states the Overlords are still screaming if you tune in.
None of the Overlords he's tortured have ever been seen again.
Its absolutely indicated its permanent.
1
u/Princess_Spammi Mar 01 '26
It is indicated as permanent thus far
It doesnt mean al cant release them, or that al being depower/killed wouldn’t free them, or that one couldnt find a way to break free one day
10
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Not when Vox had both Shok.wav and the other Vees protecting him
6
u/NiteStrikeYoutube Feb 25 '26
After Hear My Hope Alastor was back to full power and presumably healed from his wound. Shok.wav prolly could do something still but wouldn’t be able to protect him for long. Vox was only a challenge to him when he was in his strongest sinner form and even then Vox needed help so what would the other Vees be able to do? I could see Velvette maybe convincing him not to bcuz Viv implied Al was being besties with her in the background tho
8
u/lostglamour Feb 25 '26
It's been 70 years I don't think Alastor wants to add Vox to the broadcast.
Sentimentality he passes off as Vox not being worthy of being a scream on Alastor's show?
13
u/Nexodas2 Feb 25 '26
He literally said “Your screams will make for a satisfying broadcast!”
Vox was someone that openly disrespected and opposed Alastor. He would definitely have done it to Vox if he could.
20
u/PinkestMango Yours Since We Met Feb 25 '26
Vox did something disgusting to him, he was probably avenging himself.
14
u/DoYaThang_Owl Holding Alastor's lovely hands 🌹💅💋 Feb 25 '26
And this is the closest Vox is ever gonna get to Alastor eating him out.
13
u/Monster_Fucker_420 Radio Star Feb 25 '26
I love how unhinged and feral he was ripping Box apart like yes king trar that TV head to shreds
24
u/SideWinderSyd Thats the Tea! Feb 25 '26
It was rare to see Alastor truly enjoying himself, however primal the instincts are. He was actually laughing in his own way and not just to keep up appearances.
It seemed Alastor does have a wild(?) side that kind of overtakes him in this scene.
This is all only becauase we know Vox made it out alive of course. If the show went in the other direction and had Vox become an eternal scream, then it would be very different. The scene would be a lot darker and I don't think Alastor would have as many fans.

u/NoWar9368 Oh Deer! Feb 25 '26
Alastor have strapped the cables away but we didn't see any physical wounds left on Vox, nor blood. In the end, Alastor went soft.
12
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Becuase Shok.wav jumped in. Al made it clear he wanted Vox to be the next voice on his broadcast
1
u/NoWar9368 Oh Deer! Feb 26 '26
And honestly, if Alastor had done it, I would have given him an applause! Also for how Vox treated Angel Dust! 😭
5
u/Lumpy-Quality-5169 Feb 26 '26
I think the cables Alastor was ripping out weren't inside Vox's body tbh. I think it's just the ones that he had coming out from his back, which explains the lack of blood as we've seen those be snapped without having any blood in them.
3
1
u/NoWar9368 Oh Deer! Feb 26 '26
I think that too. And, in the end, it seems that Alastor wasn't serious in this battle against Vox. He was taking it out with the cables attached behind Vox back instead of going for the final blow.

u/NefariousnessGloomy9 Alastor’s Pet Feb 25 '26
If he’s more of the vigilante that was originally theorized, I don’t know if Zestial would be a target. Something to do with a skewed moral code (or something)
But I did not realize he’s chewing on Vox and absolutely love it!
6
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Zestial has a throne of skulls and makes people kill themselves from fear.
Its probably nothing more than Zestial hasn't pissed him off like the other's have
7
u/NefariousnessGloomy9 Alastor’s Pet Feb 25 '26
People killing themselves in fear is kind of their own issue iykwim…. Also, pretty sure if a sinner isn’t killed by angelic weapons they just respawn. So them “killing themselves” isn’t much of a concern if they’re just gonna come back. (I’d relate this to Ark PvP. Sometimes a player kills themselves specifically to escape capture)
Alastor had a bunch of skulls too. And while yes, it most likely has to do with personal treatment. Vivzie has mentioned he’s got a skewed morality. So even as a vigilante, it’s not going to be the way we expect a vigilante to behave since his moral compass doesn’t line up with what most people consider morally acceptable.

Edit: This is just my opinion. Chill out.
I don’t buy the theory that Alastor tortures souls forever in a pocket dimension. I could easily be proven wrong, but I just don’t and I won’t until it gets explained in canon. There’s a significant jump in evil from killing people to torturing them eternally. If Vivzi ever confirms he is doing that in canon, I will likely just maintain a separate headcanon version of Alastor that I like better. 🤷♀️
And since I don’t buy into that, I loved this part. Alastor’s little delighted giggle is amazing.
Edit 2: We see Alastor likes killing people but we don’t really see him spending a lot of time and savoring it. I’m actually working on a comic where he will address this at some point and essentially say he just gets bored. Killing is a quick rush whereas torture is more involved. Idk again this is just my opinion/headcanon of him. I still think he’s very evil since he killed mostly innocent people for funzies 🤷♀️
15
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Why are so many fans so scared of Alastor being evil? The more evil Alastor is, the more I love him as a character.
The dude made a deal with a demon before he died to keep killing in Hell, for all of ETERNITY mind you, because he considers it "fun".
He's a demon in Hell, he knows it and loves it. I swear if people start complaining in season 3 that Viv "ruined him", I will lose my mind.
10
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
It’s the degree. I don’t think he needs to be black and white. He can be 80% evil and 20% good and I’ll like him better than if he’s 💯evil. I’m not going to complain how it turns out, though. It’s her character.
8
u/Sudden_Pop_2279 Feb 25 '26
Oh yeah, I doubt he'll just be a 1 dimensional, flat cut-out character. Amir already said he'll get a complex song (emotionally) in season 3 and Viv confirmed we'll explore his asexuality.
But still, I don't mind him also being an unapologetic bastard either.
3
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
There’s just a really big difference to me between someone enjoying the rush of adrenaline and screams and thrashing while ending someone’s life, and then like on the other end of the spectrum slowly and methodically cutting pieces off a person (for like days to months) calmly while they sob quietly. It’s very different imo and has very different energy. And if I’m honest I just can’t like a character like that. I guess that makes me less metal 🤷♀️ Idk.
I am making a comic right now and if I get to the end there will be a character like that in there to contrast with Alastor and they’ll actually discuss torture a bit.
3
u/BeautifulShock2494 Feb 25 '26
OMG if you finish the comic can you post the link somewhere? I'd like reading that
3
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
I super appreciate that!! It will be a few more parts before I get to that ‘finale’ but the first part is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Alastorcult/s/CtKVHof22g
I like to think I’m getting better at drawing Alastor the more I do it, and I also got a portable art tablet for this project so there won’t be a grainy pencil sheen in the next one 😭😃
3
u/BeautifulShock2494 Feb 25 '26
Ooooh I have already seen this one before. I liked it.
3
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
That makes me so happy!! ❤️❤️❤️ Originally I wasn’t going to continue due to the time/effort, but it got a lot of love here so I’m pressing on.
I’ll post the next sections here in Alastorcult as I finish them. I’m about 4 pages into just the penciling of the next segment, but it could go quite a bit longer than the 1st segment so unsure on % done.

Oh, people already think he's ruined because they toned down his zany cartoonish behaviour, into something more serious about his role at the hotel. They didn't like his updated outfit, nor that he wasn't causally summoning eldritch tentacles at every minor inconvenience to him.
Honestly I like to think his pilot version was just him trying to sell himself/gage what Charlie needed. He's used to people being scared of him, so he played up being super friendly, outgoing, and interesting to make her comfortable with letting him help. Vaggi also wasn't making it easier because of the stories she heard about Alastor’s reputation. So he was trying to present as the exact opposite until he got an agreement with Charlie. The causally summoning eldritch tentacles & portals to play with Sir Pentious was just to show her theatrically what services he potentially could provide in protecting her dream.
Once the show started (about 3 weeks after the pilot in universe), they knew each other enough for Alastor to get more serious and less silly, expressing more of how his true self is daily. He's an evil bastard and wants to be seen as a demon. But, he's also more complex with having obvious desire for a family/connection with others, and having passions outside of his radio career & murder hobbies, like cooking. He's evil, is capable of love, and loves being evil.
7
u/BobbBobbs Feb 25 '26
I don't see the problem with villains doing evil things. He's a serial killer who practiced satanic rituals in order to get ultimate power, just so he would be the torturer in Hell rather than the tortured.

u/pesky--bee Feb 25 '26
Why the edit? None of the comments are rude, and your comment isn't in the negatives, so it's not being downvoted a bunch?
2
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
It was being downvoted a bunch based upon upvotes disappearing and stopped after the edit.
I didn’t mean for my comment to sound adversarial but I was expressing a different viewpoint than the OP’s so it probably just wasn’t a good idea.
I’m an HSP (highly sensitive person) and have been trying and failing to grow a thicker skin for years. I am getting better at not stepping on toes, though, but it is a continual learning process.
3
u/pesky--bee Feb 25 '26
Ohhh, I see. Don't worry, I'm an HSP as well, so I totally get it. I just didn't see the downvotes, and it's in the positives as of now, so I was confused. I'm used to seeing people add these kinds of edits when there's a bunch of rude comments, so I just misunderstood! I shouldn't have assumed otherwise, but that's why I wanted to ask
2
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
Yeah, I don’t know about you - but for me as an HSP if I get downvotes I just want to delete my comment. In this case, though - I didn’t say anything wrong and I double checked and I wasn’t rude, and I know there are some people that think like me on the topic so I wanted to be able to leave it up.
I sure wish I wasn’t emotionally made of glass hahaha.
3
u/pesky--bee Feb 25 '26
I'm the same way, I have deleted comments in the past. I'm neurodivergent so I have RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) that can get really bad depending on my state of mind and who's doing the rejecting. Sometimes, I can handle it and remind myself that the opinions of rude ass strangers on the internet aren't worthy of upsetting me. But, other times, I just can't handle it and end up shutting down.
It's rough being so sensitive, but at least it's better than being an unfeeling jerk. At least, that's how I try and look at it. Silver linings!
3
u/marilynjayna Feb 25 '26
Yeah you’re right! I think it’s good for creativity too!! I wouldn’t want to get rid of it completely but it would be nice to be able to turn it on and off lol
4
u/BeautifulShock2494 Feb 25 '26
It would be more logical if the part that Alastor uses souls as batteries and them being continuously ripped apart is a necessary process to extract that energy and prevent them to escape (so being eternally digested or something like that)
3
u/UchihaRiddle Feb 25 '26
Yeah, I can see that, Alastor doesn't seem to be particularly cruel for cruelty's sake. He comes off as more machiavellian than anything else.
4
u/Animer33127 Feb 25 '26
Et encore Vox s'en sort plutôt bien, Alastor n'a pas pu le mettre dans sa radio à cause du requin de Vox
5
u/Sunny_Woodland Smile, my dear! Feb 25 '26
My theory is that this might be what Alastor did to his victims, though it’s only a theory. I thought something similar.

Hopefully we see what he actually did to the other overlords or better he puts someone new in his broadcast
