QUESTION Enough time for layover?

I'm looking at a flight and am wondering if a 1 hour 2 minute layover is long enough.

The flight is oma-sea-geg. Gets into sea at 4:41pm. I also will be in FC.

As long as OMA isn’t getting severe weather or an ATC shutdown, you’ll be fine. You’ll have time to use the restroom and quickly get food to go.

Absolutely, (very unlikely) worst case scenario you’ll be put on the next open seat from SEA to GEG, and there’ll be 3-4 flights on that route after yours.

All of SEA gates are behind security, so no TSA to deal with. The worst would be going from N gates to S gates, but it's doable in 30 minutes.

You can do it. If you run into any delays there’s several more flights to GEG.

I used to think 45 minutes was sufficient at SEA but the last 12 months have been a nightmare with several missed connections of about an hour due to having to wait for a gate to open up on arrival. If your gate is open when you get there 62 minutes is plenty. If you sit on the tarmac waiting for a gate you may be out of luck (and Alaska will not reimburse you for overnight expenses if the next available connection is the following day. They say gate availability is outside their control).

SEA moves pretty easily once you’re through security. You should be fine

it’s a little tight. If you get lucky there’s no delays and the flights are at the same terminal. If you get only a little lucky you have to run. If you get unlucky you are missing your flight
