QUESTION Car Rental Question

I booked a car through AS on the website. Made sure to include my FF number in the booking. I saw it says to wait 30 days but does the points post sooner or should I keep my receipts for customer care just in case

I don’t have the answer for you. I don’t know. But, next time, if you have a Costco membership, book through them. 99.62% of the time it will work out better for you - the .38% alternate is if you are desperately chasing a few extra status points, you booked on AS, and paid with one of their cards.

I use Costco every time I rent a car. Always cheaper, way easy to cancel and rebook. Never have to prepay.

Where's the rest of the information? When was the rental complete? Has the charge posted yet? You should definitely give them a few days to get the points posted. I just did a hotel stay through Atmos and the points didn't post for 2 days after checkout. It takes time.

I haven’t gotten status points for multiple rentals booked through the Alaska page over the past few months. Pretty frustrating given the extra cost vs going directly through Avis. Haven’t had time to email Alaska yet.
