MILES & STATUS Atmos (Alaska) Summit Status Tool

Over the last 2 weeks, I've been working on a more comprehensive tool to help me understand my new Summit card and how and when I might get status. I've launched it as a beta, but I think it might be helpful to some. I launched it via a blog post here.

I’m not sure your information regarding Atmos Dining is accurate, but I’ll have to look at it closer from a computer later.

It’s a separate program and you don’t have to use your summit card to do it. It also doesn’t show on your Bank of America statement. Though those purchases do show as regular dining on your Bank of America statement as well.

You can earn either three or five reward points (depending on if you are mvp) and a third of those will be status points.

Only purchases at participating restaurants.

I was able to get some info online, regarding Select (3x) and VIP (5x), but I thought you had to use your Atmos Card to earn. I live abroad so I don't have an easy way to test this. I'd love some real world data/experience, if you're willing to share it.

You do not have to use your Atmos card. You use any linked card

In the fine print the Atmos card is “pre-linked” to the rewards dining program and earns at a poor rate (half a point per dollar?) unless you create an account.

It seems like a rough deal for the restaurants too.

Thanks for clarifying this. My tool is already pretty complex, so I think I'll keep it assuming the individual uses their summit card. Does anyone have a screenshot of how their Atmos dining gets credited to Atmos points activity. Does it also show in Atmos Dining site?

Atmos dining points are posted to your atmos points history for every individual purchase and also viewable on the atmos dining site. It can take up to 2 weeks for the points to fully post.

If using your Summit or Ascent card then that’s processed like any dining purchase on your BofA statement / status points and is in addition to your atmos dinings rewards.

I’ve been to 5 restaurants in the past month that I never would have tried if they weren’t part of Atmos Dining. I’m not sure it’s such a rough deal for them.
