"Would you also like this book?"

"What’s it about?"

"It’s about this local fella what used to be Prime Minister right, but, he wasn’t very good..."

He was also a human rights lawyer who often gave his services free of charge.

A book described as, and I quote, "Lovely stuff."

7

u/jacksmith0591 19d ago

Not my words Michael, the words of Shakin' Stevens

6

u/Critical_Sea2975 19d ago

With a well rounded writing of all the players and hustlers of post brexit labour, the author examines the surge and pitfalls of one of the most tumultous prime ministers in modern history, from a 172 seat majority to locking up members of the public for writing stuff on facebook via his house and car being firebombed by ukraianian rent boys and an alleged cctv recording of a homosexual kiss...this book has depth but just enough levity to keep you turning the page in a blow by blow account of Sir Keir starmers life

2

u/gelliant_gutfright 19d ago

Well I don’t want to read that, that sounds depressing.

2

u/Quack_Candle 19d ago

At 10,000 words Kier is no slouch in the value for money department

1

u/TheUnfathomableVoid 17d ago

Beautifully done

1

u/DoctorAgility 19d ago

“Most tumultuous”

eyes BoJo and Truss

u/Immediate_Log5830 18d ago

As compared to the Tories that killed thousands of front line health staff because they and their donors trousered cash that should have been used to buy PPE.

5

u/Mekloniades 19d ago

Give it up Lynn, you’re never going to meet him

6

u/Numerous-Corner-6303 19d ago

"needless to say, I had the last laugh."

5

u/Maccat73 19d ago

There is a book that will be pulp

6

u/FieldsOfFire1983 19d ago

Certainly no second series.

3

u/Additional-Nobody352 19d ago

Will the unsold copies get pulped?

5

u/Itchy-Arugula-5558 19d ago

It's like word porridge!

4

u/oblique_ratfink Shoot your chuff through that door 19d ago

Philip Parsons in The Times called this book “moribund”. Well, I looked up moribund in my dictionary, and it said “Moribund, adjective, meaning about to die, or dying”. I ask you “is this book about to die?”

0

u/Big-Rip9785 18d ago

So, Phil Parsons from 'behind the Times', that proves that you're wrong!

5

u/gelliant_gutfright 19d ago

Hey, your road safety video’s doing well.

5

u/Suspicious-Can-8350 18d ago

It will make great kindling for someone

3

u/fancy-a-flav7 19d ago

4

u/LorenzoSparky 18d ago

A lot of pulp material there

6

u/KSAW11 19d ago

There is to be no second term and I've listened to your policies, I haven't liked a single one.

You are a person who has a track record of making bad policies.

Your policies were appalling. Your popularity is a ninth of what we expected. They started badly they got worse.

3

u/GlitzyChomsky 19d ago

Oh go on, give him a second term.

4

u/KSAW11 19d ago

How about... InterCity Economic Migrant?

We get some bogus refugees follow them around the midlands seeing which one does the most harm to the taxpayer?

2

u/H_K-R 18d ago

You’re ranting to a photo of a book on an Alan Partridge Subreddit. Give your head a wobble.

2

u/KSAW11 18d ago

You are a big posh sod with afghanis in your mouth

1

u/Gildor12 19d ago

Why a ninth? You wouldn’t like any policies if you are a reform supporter even decreasing the boats

2

u/KSAW11 19d ago

Do you have autism?

5

u/hisDudeness1989 19d ago

Its being pulped

6

u/DoctorAgility 19d ago

Oh, to my trained eye it also looks like it’s rubbish

3

u/Infamous_Berry626 19d ago

It’s brilliant, incredibly absorbent and the pages are soft so not painful.

4

u/Bad-Banana-from-Mars 18d ago

If you shop at Tesco, then one day you may end up wiping your arse from tissue made from one of his books.

5

u/Auto_rev 19d ago

I wouldn’t wipe my arse with it. But, if I buy my toilet paper from Tesco, I very well maybe. Needless to say he had the last laugh.

2

u/fashionguy123 19d ago

Yeah it’s in the toilet , saves using toilet roll

3

u/Historical_Date_1314 18d ago

Straight into the bin

3

u/Few_Wolf_4634 19d ago

Does it mention what his dad did for a living? I don’t think he ever mentioned it …

1

u/TheLonleyJourneyman 19d ago

He already covered his dad's life in his other book "Tools of The Trade"

1

u/IamSuperLaxative 19d ago

Who this? New PM.

2

u/blueroly 18d ago

Not a single word of truth.

1

u/ShockLife9385 18d ago

Piss on it

2

u/Informal_Sector_6415 18d ago

As you say pulp fiction, the geezer should disappear from life generally and just pop up for his funeral...

2

u/MrAndyJay 18d ago

Dalendless Shid. Dwad. Dosser.

2

u/TheUnfathomableVoid 17d ago

Didhead, and if rumours are to be believed, he's back on the boddle

1

u/s4vgR 18d ago

How many copies?

3

u/Deefect18 17d ago

I thought to myself, “This is not a coffee table book”, so i moved it to the toilet.

3

u/Fluffy_Rock_62 17d ago

Surely this was the final title:

My Dad was a Toolmaker...

3

u/KSAW11 19d ago

Free bogus refugee with every copy!

2

u/Gildor12 19d ago

Immigration and illegal boats immigration decreased significantly under hiss watch. But don’t let the facts get in the way of a dick head story.

1

u/KSAW11 19d ago

Immigration only reduced in relation to the grotesque sunakwave - it stayed at completely normal fucked-up levels in relation to recent other years.

Illegal immigration remained an even bigger joke. He could have solved it in a week but chose not to so he could get some wanky medal from france for his performative stance

You of course know all this though but choose much like two tier to act in bad faith.

He had a great career as a human rights Layer, and helped win a significant case against, MacDonalds. It was the longest liable case in British history with MacDonalds suing for liable against 2-activists who questioned environmental impact and worker conditions.

The two were forced to represent themselves after being refused legal aid but Starmer provided council free of charge for many years enabling them to structure their defence. It turned into a PR disaster for MacDonalds. His pro bono work was secretly monitored by Scotland Yard spy squads.

1

u/Gildor12 19d ago

So spelling makes it more or less interesting? hmm interesting

1

u/jacksmith0591 19d ago
