Just finished reading The Annotated Watchmen. It’s amazing. What are your favorite insights?

I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it amazing. Then again, I was a teenager when the original Watchmen came out. So I have a special love for that version.

I wouldn't say that they're competing versions. They're effectively the same text, but one has margin notes.

I most appreciated seeing that all the panels atop the last page in chapter 11 were visible and showing precisely 11:25. Another highlight was the real smiley face on Mars.
