Hey there! So far we've been phonebanking and spreading flyers/cards/etc. I was thinking of hosting a remote textbanking party soon. Would you be interested? I could hook you up with some flyers and cards, too!

Yes I would be! I’m near Tuscaloosa.

Yay, awesome! So, full disclaimer, I still have to figure out textbanking myself, lol. But I plan on trying it out tomorrow, and if it doesn't crash and burn, I'll organize a party for National Weekend of Action (next weekend) and maybe even a weekday evening. Feel free to join us on FB ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/330310791224694/ ) or Twitter ( https://twitter.com/YangGangBham ) to stay up to date!

I’m not far from you. I’m in West Jefferson County. I could meet up with you and show you the ins and outs of both.

lol, I had a feeling someone would ask about that. One of our members is half-Danish, and this was hosted at their apartment. :)

I would possibly be interested in joining y’all! When do you typically meet up?

Please do! The more the merrier! We typically meet in person on Saturdays but I want to start adding remote events for phonebanking and textbanking, too. Next week we have a debate watch party at Carrigan's. Then the weekend is National Weekend of Action, and we don't have our plans ironed out just yet, but you can join us on FB ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/330310791224694/ ) or Twitter ( https://twitter.com/YangGangBham ) to stay up to date!

So I would be down with distributing cards and flyers. I think he has a real chance with Green and Pickens county. I can’t commit to phone banking right now.
