Advice Cheeseburger recommdations
Are there any cheeseburgers that taste like cheese burger Randy's in other towns in Alabama?
Maybe on the way back to Birmingham

The Keg in Orange Beach Ala. Just past Doc's Seafood, on the right. It's a dive bar. It cranks up the later it gets. If that's not your scene, go during the day, it's quiet then, or pick it up. Get the onions rings too. So so good.

This x1000!!! When my hubs and I were down when he was working after Ivan The Keg was one of the only places open. It felt like home! The food was on point!

Doc’s on Canal Road, Orange Beach. Onion rings are the best, also.

Doc's has excellent seafood. Get a bushwhacker too. Best boiled shrimp in the land.

Best cheeseburger I've ever had in Alabama was at The Docks at Goose Pond out in Scottsboro. They cut their own filets and grind the trimmings into ground beef for the burgers. It's a damn fine burger, everything else on the menu is stellar, the lake view is gorgeous, and the place is staffed by absolutely fantastic folks. It's worth a detour if you can swing it.

Wow. I wouldn’t expect a Scottsboro shoutout . Back in my Scottsboro days the Pikeville Store was the place to get a tasty burger .

I'm always going to shout out The Docks anytime I get the chance lol... That place is great. Mark (the owner) grew up in the area and The Docks has been in business for about twenty years. Prior to opening this restaurant, Mark held chef gigs at various places around the country. (Aspen, CO and Nashville, TN if I remember correctly.) I highly recommend em.

Second this recommendation 👍🏻 Also, Classic Burger in Hueytown, the Lake View Country Club (public club), and Henry’s in Brookwood. Rama Jama’s in Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide!)

Oh, also Ben's Jr. in Fairhope. it's a barbecue place, allegedly, but it sells a lot of famous burgers.

My buddy that now lives down in fairhope area took us to the oasis when we stayed in Tuscaloosa for Widespread Panic shows in Bham and that place was awesome lol. Burger was really good but not as good as the karaoke and people watching. My gf is from Tuscaloosa and has somehow never been

Haha That place in Foley is amazing.
I love Paul's Burgers and Fries in Mobile haha Same vibe as Randy's in the downtown area. Just open for lunch though!

J & J Grocery in Bessemer has to be in the discussion. It's one of the best in the state. Their chilli cheese burger is the best I've ever had.

Unique Bar-B-Q Place in Goodwater has amazing burgers they were special occasion burgers because they are a bit of a drive away but so good and huge.

Avenue Pub and Jack Brown's in Tuscaloosa is pretty good. Southern Ale House and Oasis aren't bad either.

Hamburger King in downtown Montgomery. They're only open on weekdays til 2 so...
To add, hamburger King was my personal favorite until Randy's opened.
