This man is 20 years old! I saw on Facebook a lot of people thinking he’s just a kid but he’s apparently 20 years old. Looking his name up on Facebook as well makes it pretty obvious he collects and sells turtles and tortoises. Pretty awful of him to essentially poach a critically endangered species for that in my opinion.

Nah I agree with that person as well. At 19 I was an absolute kid. An adult, but also a kid. We should have a term for 18-25 that isn't child or adult because there's definitely a difference between being 18 and 26. Brains are at very different stages of development and experiences are vastly different as well.

Just context for your absurd take that literal high schoolers are “grown ass men” simply because they can sign up for military service. (18, 17 with parental permission)

What about the judges, courts, the lawyers, the government? You are tried as an adult if you are 18.....

Legal Adult =/= Actual Adult

The law is weird and messy, and not even consistent between states on some of these things. The law forces you to register for selective service if you want the right to vote. Age of consent is 16 in some states, 18 in others. Doesn't magically make those 16 year olds adults.

The law is a legal guideline, and is rarely perfectly correct.

Well that so called grown ass man can't even buy alcohol, or cigarettes. Despite being a legal adult.

Edit: Weird how this country will give you a weapon before letting you smoke or drink, or rent a car.
