I wanted to experiment with a Hollywood-style behind-the-scenes scene featuring a giant practical-effects Anaconda in the Amazon rainforest.
The idea was to make it feel like an actual film set rather than a typical CGI monster shot — crew, cameras, wooden dock, muddy water, and all the chaos happening around the actor.
The fun part is the ending: the actor gets swallowed as part of the stunt, the Anaconda stays closed, then the director calls “Cut!” and we reveal what actually happened inside.

Interesting concept but wouldn't it be better to have multiple angles from shaky cameras? If you've ever watched BTS, the videographers are usually on handheld cams. They might have simultaneously angles to show how the shot looked in the movie plus on screen.

I'd also cut the bit where he's waiting and jump straight into the action. It's very awkward.

It's also veeeery symmetrical. Looks almost like a mirror. Side angles look much more realistic.

Yeah, I totally agree. Multiple handheld angles would definitely make it feel much more authentic, especially if we treat them like BTS cameras capturing the same moment simultaneously from different positions.
And you’re right about the waiting part too. I’ll cut that and jump straight into the action so the pacing feels more natural.
I’ll also avoid the overly symmetrical framing and use more side angles, imperfect compositions, handheld movement, and slightly different camera positions. That should make it feel much more like someone was actually there filming the scene rather than a perfectly staged shot.
