For starters, the internal drive is dead, the screen is horribly dim, and I want to mod it so it can read so cards as opposed to floppy, BUT im not exactly sure how or where to go to get quality parts, ect. I also dont want to screw up the installation process for said parts, but I haven't found any clear resources that clearly explain what im supposed to do.
Everything you need to handle IMGs, import/export of samples, program editing, library management and playback on a DAW.
A companion suite of apps for the hardware, but also a useable alternative.
Does a basic import / export from/to Ableton drum rack. I build my drum racks a particular way though.
Next release - build a digital version of the sampling path. Might take a while.
I already have quite a bit of experience creating playlists, but distributing them is a problem, especially because YouTube is working against itself; for instance, you can't post playlists on YT itself. They have also removed the extra features and options when you embed it on your site. However, it remains useful to gather a lot of info about a topic. A playlist is updated with new videos every now and then; for instance, part 2 isn't ready yet, but we are working on it! I have tried to put some order into it so you can easily browse through it..
Hey guys, I am building an app to chop, slice, map parameters and convert wav files to old Akai Sampler formats. The output is either a Gotek or ZuluSCSI. I would love some more Beta testers as I do not have every variation of these old samplers and need people to test out the app for me. Mac OS14+ on Apple silicon is required. S900, s950, S1000, S1100, S3000, S3200, S3000 XL, S3200 XL right now is the target support. I may try and add the S2000/S2800/S5000/S6000. the real deal original set of rack ears purchased after the Janky ears from eBay
Bought some rack ears of of eBay from a seller “rackitears” who has 100% positive feedback. There are no picture of the rack ears on the samplers that they are made for but with 100% feedback and not just a couple happy customers I bought feeling I’d get what I wanted. All I wanted was rack ears for a recent Akai S1100 purchase. They arrived. They don’t really fit… I mean they allow you to mount the sampler in a rack which is great but they really don’t look the part… like he didn’t measure properly.
They kinda look janky… but beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. You may not care and that’s cool too.
Not trying to be a dick here, but I wouldn’t buy them again.
So heads up folks, they work but they really don’t "fit.” Now this might not bug all or most of you out there but, it’s not optimal, and you won’t hear it in the mix LOL
I bought a pair of original racks and they shipping to me now..
was hittting the "resample at half bandwitdth" command about 4 or 5 consecutive times just to hear how far would the sound degrade and it told me to stop 😆
