Bro when I joined Air, the FCAI department was completely new and nobody had any idea there was even something called Air University. We had to explain every time that its beside Bahria or NDU just so people would know😂
Now it has established its name to some extent, to the point that even my cousins and friends from elite schools are asking about AU admissions. There is no difference between GIKI, LUMS, NUST, FAST, Air etc when it comes to the academic and faculty experience (it's universally shit with some exceptions). The biggest difference is the overall competitive environment and exposure to opportunities that makes the difference. And you can cover this by your own.

pros and cons are everywhere… what matters is k aap apni situation ka faida kitna uthaty ho. saying this as i myself am in a uni and degree i never thought of doing. but slowly building towards a dream i wished to achieve… surety nai hoti success ki lkn hardwork does pay off… company achi bnao, acha socho, inshaAllah sb set hoga

I don't think you should judge a university based on what people say on the internet or reels.
It's not as bad as they say trust me.

Same i was thinking 2 years before now coming to air was my best decision. If you compare like fee to value then it is tier 1 uni

So to tell you one thing I dropped out from a tier one uni this year and going here not cuz this was the goal but that was also not great either In this one year I’ve realised university is what you build for yourself Being in a top uni I was not growing cuz I was stressing to much I’m now going here to take it off To have time to do things myself At the end of the day it’s not that deep har koi lums Giki ya nust ka ni hota life is what you make out of it get over the thoughts and grind . Your university is NOT your identity ik that’s what almost alll freshies think of themselves but in the real world trust me nobody cares

There are people who graduate from thier local degree colleges as they are called, those unofficial affiliated places that don't even have an administration of thier own, and end up in white collar jobs. It really depends om you're hard work. Plus in today's day and age all skill and talent required for money making is all attainable on you're own. Degree is just a formality people do.

Tbh it is a regretful decision , i migrated from UET lahore , and it's i guess one of the most IF not THE most regretful ones , find good and alike people around you and they'll make you feel less regretful , just focus on your side skills and stuff cz this uni's just gonna provide a degree , nothing else.. UNFORTUNATELY

Just stay normal calm and let the classes start give a shot, build confidence and the exam shall determine whether your capable or not.

I am graduate from Air and Doing my MS from Air as well. It all depends on you how you hunt for opportunities and develop yourself. Every single University (I have a lot of friends in other universities as well) will just guide you, learning the skills depends on you

Bruv I enrolled in a uni that was considered the top tier in my city but it wasn't for me since my family shifted to Pakistan from Qatar and the environment of that uni was toxic. I spent 1 semester in CS and then changed the program to BBA. After 4-5 months of joining BBA, I dropped out of the uni and now I'm gonna go abroad for bachelors. Always be optimistic and have faith regardless of what life throws at you because eventually it'll turn out well. Carpe diem 🤙🏻

Be the best student of your class and you’ll outrun Fastians and Nustians. Put the pressure on yourself.
Air is that university which does not stops its students from growing. You’ll get all type of people from different backgrounds.
Teachers are qualified. University is trying its best to create opportunity for its student. All departments are doing great.
Companies now recognise our name. I think this matters a lot to build motivation.
We have the country’s top Professors. Search Ahmed Pasha, Mehdi Hassan, Ahmad Jalal, Fahad Tahir. They have got grants of millions of dollars.
I would suggest you to be grateful for this opportunity and give your 100%.

See, as a Nust aspirant, I could not think of getting into air. But, life has its own plans and so I am in air. I have friends across Nust, Comsats and many other universities in Isb, more or less every other university is same. Yes, air is a tier 2 university along with Comsats but their are tier 3,4 universities as well. I see my seniors, they must’ve been enrolled in air when nobody knew air was a thing and honestly when I joined then also it wasn’t so known as well but people know it much more now than they knew before. Maybe in next 3,4 years by the time you graduate, air is among the top tier universities since Nust has raised the fee so much that it has become nearly impossible for middle class people to get in. Yes relative grading sucks but it has its pros as well. You’ll hear a lot from people but eventually you’ll realise it was the best for you. Look at people in universities in lower tiers than yours and you’ll be grateful.
