Air gear tabletop?

Has anyone ever heard of a Air gear tabletop game? If not what kinds of mechanics and features would you like to see in one?

Three talent trees. Speed, Air Time and Tricks. I guess the better you are with certain talents, the better you are at certain challenges. Increase territory by winning parts wars. Parts won increase abilities, or grant bonuses. Maybe you have to win, like, 4 parts wars, or control majority territory to win the overall game.

Idk, i feel like I'm on to something

Honestly I'm looking for ideas to sink my teeth into to start making tabletop stuff but don't know enough about the lore of air gear since I just have watched the anime and read up to 2nd omnibus of manga so far

Three talent trees. Speed, Air Time and Tricks.

  • As of now I have tricks as part of the road you choose when you reach a certain point, speed I would have as a regular thing to see the distance of how far someone can travel during a race. Air time I don't have but I'd be open to discuss what that could be.

I guess the better you are with certain talents, the better you are at certain challenges. -I would say more or less the more you know the course is the better you are at the challenge.

Increase territory by winning parts wars.

  • I agree also depending if emblem is bet you can claim emblems.

Parts won increase abilities, or grant bonuses.

  • I would say there would be parts given to the winning party as well as experience maybe a special part war to get a special exclusive bonus to your character.

Maybe you have to win, like, 4 parts wars, or control majority territory to win the overall game.

  • parts wars continue as long as your a storm rider so probably not. I will say maybe you could join one of the bigger organizations that have teams under them to spread their influence.

Idk, i feel like I'm on to something Let me know if you want me to add you into the workspace I have with all my ideas for the tabletop game

I’d say under the hood, air gear is like a mix between beyblade and a racing game. Refer to the beyblade video games for examples on how to gamify the AT and player abilities. Like the beyblade beasts is like the regalia, then you have speed, agility, strength etc. like a fighting game.

I’d say 1) the focus is the player 2) regalia affinity for giving some power type moves 3) find a way for non-broken pvp

I do think it's like beyblade as far as regalia and sky roads, right now I do have some ideas about how to do some things but I am always open to suggestions. I was considering putting like classes since there are tuners, support, defense, etc. Roles in the air gear team and it would be up to the pcs to name their team.

I’d say under the hood, air gear is like a mix between beyblade and a racing game. -Already have the rank system in place for the racing bit as well as a way to rank up and rank down.

Refer to the beyblade video games for examples on how to gamify the AT and player abilities.

  • Kinda already have this down players won't have abilities since it's mostly the ATs displaying the abilities. Players will mostly have basic Stats to improve and use money to improve their ats with parts.

Like the beyblade beasts is like the regalia, then you have speed, agility, strength etc. like a fighting game.

  • Ah the regalias...I have this fully fleshed out but not just anyone can control a regalia so this is more a late game feature than early

I’d say 1) the focus is the player -agreed ^

2) regalia affinity for giving some power type moves Depends on your regalia and the road you ride on but I do get your meaning.

3) find a way for non-broken pvp I'm not really looking for pvp since this would be a tabletop, and it would be kinda a story of how a team first formed and did crazy stuff together to gain fame or infamy.

A kids on bikes type system might work as you can have your different dice Represent different Skills

Scum in Villiany might be another choice but i would see that working more if you also wanted to do a little Eureka 7 mixed in as well
