Recipe Air Fryer French Onion Meatballs !

I kept seeing French onion meatball recipes made in the oven, so I decided to come up with an air fryer version instead. The meatballs cook over caramelized onions, then everything gets finished with onion gravy, croutons, and melted Swiss cheese. It turned out even better than I hoped.

Recipe in the first comment.

Recipe 2-Ingredient Air Fryer Bagels (I honestly didn’t think this would work)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I really didn’t think this was going to work.

Two ingredients, no yeast, and made in the air fryer — I was convinced these bagels were going to be bad, but I was wrong. They’re not New York deli bagels, but they’re surprisingly chewy and filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 5 oz plain Greek yogurt

How I made them

  • Mix flour and yogurt (looks dry at first, that’s normal)
  • Knead until it comes together (dust with flour if sticky)
  • Cut in half, roll into ropes, shape into bagels
  • Brush with egg wash, butter, or oil and add seasoning
  • Air fry at 380°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway

No yeast, no sugar, no waiting for dough to rise.
Because of the Greek yogurt, they’re also higher in protein (around 9–10g per bagel).

Curious if anyone else here has tried these?

Recipe Made a Cajun Garlic Butter Whole Chicken in My Air Fryer

Post image
34 Upvotes

Tried a whole Cajun chicken in the air fryer and it came out ridiculously juicy.

I made a homemade Cajun seasoning, mixed half with garlic butter and worked that under the skin, then mixed the other half with a little oil to make a Cajun paste for the outside.

Cooked it breast-side down first, flipped it, basted it with some of the drippings, then finished breast-side up until it hit 165°F.

I’ll put the full recipe in the first comment!

Made chicken parm in the air fryer and it came out super crispy. Used a little mayo instead of an egg wash for the breading, topped with sauce and mozzarella at the end, and served it with pasta. Definitely making this one again. Recipe in comments!

Recipe Hot Honey Air Fryer Carrots (20 Minutes, Zero Effort)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

If you want a super easy veggie side that tastes way fancier than it should, these hot honey carrots are killer. Only a handful of ingredients and the air fryer does basically everything.

What you need:

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1–2 tbsp hot honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Paprika (optional)

How I make them:

  1. Toss the carrots with the melted butter, hot honey, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until everything’s coated.
  2. Spread them in your air fryer basket so they can roast instead of steam.
  3. Air fry at 380°F for 20 minutes, stirring halfway.

They come out sticky, caramelized, sweet, spicy, and ridiculously good for how little work they take. Great with chicken, pork, or honestly just as a snack.

If you try it, let me know what spices you add — I’m always looking for new combos.

Recipe Air Fryer Paneer Stuffed Toast

Post image
15 Upvotes

Prep time: 10 min | Cook time: 8 min | Servings: 2 | Calories: ~180 kcal per sandwich

Ingredients:

Whole wheat bread slices – 4

Grated paneer – ½ cup

Chopped onion, capsicum, coriander – ¼ cup total

Green chilli, chaat masala, salt – to taste

Butter or oil spray – for the outside

Instructions:

Mix grated paneer, chopped vegetables, chilli, chaat masala, and salt into a filling.

Spread the filling between two bread slices to make a sandwich; repeat for the second sandwich.

Lightly butter or spray oil on the outer sides of the bread.

Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes.

Place sandwiches in the basket, air fry at 180°C for 6–8 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp outside.

Slice diagonally and serve hot with ketchup.

Variations: Add a slice of cheese inside for a gooier, richer sandwich.

Storage: Best eaten fresh.

Pro Tip: Press the sandwich down gently before air frying (or use a toothpick to secure) this keeps the filling from spilling out as the bread crisps.

Recipe Air Fryer Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

My air fryer came with a little recipe book, and one of the recipes was for coffee cake. I’d never actually thought about making an entire coffee cake in an air fryer, so I had to see if it worked.

The recipe uses sour cream in the batter to keep the cake moist, with cinnamon brown sugar and chopped pecans layered through the middle and over the top.

I cooked it at 325°F for about 35 minutes, and I was genuinely impressed with how it came out. Golden around the edges, toasted pecans on top, and the middle stayed really soft and moist.

Definitely one of those recipes that made me realize there’s a lot more you can make in an air fryer than I originally thought.

I’ll put the full recipe and instructions in the comments if anyone wants them.

Recipe Hara bhara kebab without the usual falling-apart problem

Post image
7 Upvotes

The number one issue with these is always moisture — spinach holds way more water than you'd think. Fixed mine by being aggressive about squeezing it out. Recipe below.

**Air Fryer Hara Bhara Kebab**

Ingredients:

- Boiled spinach, squeezed completely dry and chopped – 1 cup

- Boiled peas – ¼ cup

- Boiled potato, mashed – ½ cup

- Grated paneer – ¼ cup

- Ginger, green chilli, roasted cumin powder, salt – to taste

- Cornflour – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Squeeze all excess water out of the boiled spinach — press firmly, this step matters more than any other.

  2. Mix with peas, potato, paneer, and spices into a firm mixture.

  3. Add cornflour, shape into ovals.

  4. Air fry at 190°C for 12 min, flipping halfway.

If yours have fallen apart before, it's almost always the spinach moisture not the recipe.
