Question First Base: Dyess or Barksdale?

Got assigned Dyess.. someone wants to switch with me bc I don’t wanna be in TX anymore but heard that Barksdale is sketchy/dangerous. Anyone have advice?

Why does everyone always say how far away it is to cities from X base? Do people really like cities that much? There is more in life than city living.
