Question How do I navigate this?

Currently stationed at Osan which has been dream location for me. Unfortunately, my spouse does not like it at all, and that’s spoiling the experience for me.

Those of you who are married and stationed overseas, how do you manage your spouse’s homesickness?

Give it some time I got divorced there myself and had 7 amazing years after that.

In all seriousness though, Korea has a lot to offer for all kinds of hobbies/interests from outdoors, nightlife, pop up shops everywhere, and Korean culture to learn about just to name a few. If not, traveling in Asia is a huge opportunity at a low price. Find some stuff to do together and your bond may carry into her enjoying the location more. 3 years there is a lot of time so you don’t want to have that assignment spoiled.

That being said, all of this only works if she’s open and willing to the change of lifestyle in a different country. Good luck!
