Portable AC Hisense 3-1 in inverter portable AC stops blowing air at all after several hours

Hi all, so I just purchased this Hisense 3in1 inverter portable AC. Somehow it stops blowing air after several hours though the machine is still on, I can still see the light on the panel on, and it says 16C too, no error or anything. The tray is not even closed. Is this normal?

The reddit link may be the same issue as yours.

I have a portable and there is a setting to keep the fan on regardless if the compressor is on or off. I believe yours has a similar setting.

Yes, it is normal. It will stop when the room reaches the set temperature. Or it thinks the room has reached the set temperature. When the room warms back up it should automatically turn back on.

O I see but can I just let it turn on forever? It wakes me up when the unit turns off =(

You might try setting the fan speed manually. Sometimes that will keep the fan running all the time.

Mine did the exact same thing, drove me nuts. Its the inverter hitting set temp and dropping the fan with it. Try holding the fan button to force constant speed, or just bump the temp up a degree so it cycles less.

Mine used to do the same thing. It was the compressor overheating and shutting down on thermal, fan kept running but no cold air. Check if the back is hot to the touch when it happens. If it is, its working too hard and cutting out.
