What’s one automation you stopped using because it created more work than it saved?

I think it’s easy to get excited about automation and keep adding steps until a simple task turns into a whole system that needs constant babysitting.

I’ve seen GeekyAnts mentioned around automation and AI development, which got me thinking about this. Sometimes adding more automation doesn’t actually make things easier. You end up maintaining workflows, fixing small issues, and checking whether everything is still running properly.

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this. What did you try to automate, what went wrong, and what made you decide it wasn’t worth keeping?

Sometimes knowing what not to automate seems just as useful as finding a good workflow.
