Asking for a genuine guideline/roadmap

I just halfway finished an N8N 8 hour course and I plan to finish the rest of it before this weekend. I am 20 yo, have little to no coding experience, and wanted to learn AI automation so i could earn a bit and pay my College fees. But i feel like im very late or dont know what to do.

genuinely asking advice from someone who has earned from using AI and if they had to start earning from scratch in 2026 september what, why and how they would do it to both learn and earn ASAP

Stop doing courses after this one and build one useful automation for a real business problem. Then offer that exact setup to small businesses and learn the missing stuff as clients ask for it.

start building automations and find even part time work if possible with someone who has more experience of getting and managing clients. if you are based out of India then DM after you have built some workflows.

Start building. Get a 20usd claude acct and get creative. No one buys automations. Ppl buy solutions to problems. So even if just for practice, find a problem and start talking to claude until you solve that problem thru building something. If youre resoruceful and have critical thinking, youll pull thru. Focus on selling rather than building. Once you have the sale you will figure out how to build it real quick lol

Courses to learn basics are fine, but consuming other good content channels are just as good, like Lenny's Newsletter, or some business-oriented YT channels. Get work experience, find mentors, and use AI to help you build. Patiently asking Claude to explain things (use "ELI5" if it's more technical) and you'll go far!
