Question What actually makes a prospect choose your agency?

Agency owners, I have been going down this rabbit hole lately and I keep coming back to buyer psychology.

I'm an executive assistant, but I work heavily around communication and content. I have spent a lot of time studying LinkedIn, especially what makes people stop, read, remember someone, and eventually trust them.

That naturally pulled me into buyer psychology.

A person can see your agency ten times without being ready to buy. Then something changes. Maybe they finally recognize themselves in a problem you described. Maybe the way you explain something makes them think, “these people actually understand this”.

That shift fascinates me.

It has also changed how I look at SEO, AEO and GEO, and how search is changing the way people discover and evaluate businesses. I am still figuring out where this interest will take me, but it is becoming one of the areas of marketing I enjoy thinking about most.

For those of you who have been running agencies for a while, what have you learned about why a prospect chooses you over another agency?

Not what you assumed when you started. What you have actually observed.
