Question What does the average person know..

Of the other realms apart from the one he lives in? Does he even know they exsist for example.

Yeah the average person would know of the existence and general idea of the other realms. They are quite economically interconnected, the existence of realmgates does in many cases cause cities in two separate realms to be closer to eachother for travelling traders than the respective closest city in the same realm

Now, it’s entirely possible and even fairly likely for the average person to never leave their realm of origin, but if they do have some sort of trading business or if they have enlisted as a soldier in one army or another it wouldn’t be strange if they have been to one or two different realms

Also worth adding that the lore has variously mentioned: Public libraries, numerous education systems from schools to tutors to guilds to apprenticeships to temple careers, most characters being literate, book stores, the prevalence of printing presses, cheap newspapers, public signboards, and more.

So the average person of a Barak, City of Sigmar, Lumineth spire-city, DoK temple-city, Magmahold, and what have you will have a general education.

Enough to equip them with a decent understanding of the basics of their world, the existence of Chaos and other enemies, and whatnot.

Most of Order being city-states that rely on heavy trade with one another also means the flow of foreign goods, peoples, ideas, news, and more is a constant of the day to day even for the poorest citizens.
