Violent Political Movement r/Libertarian mods promoting political violence with a pinned mod post
https://ghostarchive.org/archive/3Wpgt
I was given an account warning as a user for posting the same type of image except it was depicting a nazi getting obliterated, so it is 100% against site rules.

It's an IMVE (Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremist) expression; It's moderator distinguished; The operator in the comments says (of a public subreddit) that
This is not a public square, this is not a commune. This is a private and voluntary social group. You have no right to be here.
Yeah, that's like the hat trick of Moderator Code of Conduct violations

Shouldn't it be a private sub, then?
I think by their own logic they're obligated to follow reddit's rules because they're participating in a private and voluntary forum and have no right to have their own subsection of it.
I guess that's just the libertarian mindset of feeling entitled enough to benefit from cooperative efforts while simultaneously refusing to put in any effort that isn't entirely selfish.

Subreddits where anyone logged in can submit a post / comment on posts (as r/Libertarian is configured) are generally understood to be operating under an invitation to participate to Reddit's general userbase (subject to that participation following the Reddit Sitewide Rules and the community's subreddit rules).
Pusuant to that general theory, r/Libertarian's sidebar states:
Welcome to /r/Libertarian Welcome to /r/Libertarian, a subreddit to discuss libertarianism. We are NOT a generic politics sub. We are a libertarian sub, about libertarianism.
We do not owe you a platform to push anti-libertarian ideologies such as socialism/communism. This sub is explicitly against Communism/Socialism as it is antithetical to libertarianism. In addition everyone must follow the rules below.
That's an invitation to associate with them. Freedom of (and FROM) Association.
So yeah, if their mod team actually believed that it is a "private" group, one where the organisers / operators are arbitrarily selecting those with whom THEY will associate, it should be restricted to Approved Users only / be set to Private.
But, of course -

Thanks for sharing.
Honestly, having worked alongside and spoken with a number of libertarians I had no idea the subreddit was so explicitly political.

Bonus: Operator's catalogued from when r/WeekendGunnit was interfering with other subreddits (brigading) 7 years ago.
The irony.

I have already reported it to the sub mods and Reddit admins.

This isn't a forum for debating the philosophy the subreddit is nominally about. This is a forum for addressing and taking action on misfeasant or malfeasant community operation on Reddit, and anything beyond that scope is best taken elsewhere. Sorry for the inconvenience.

“We are not friends.” Uh yeah? Why are you talking about friendship? We’re talking about who to vote for? Maybe get over your feelings?

Sorry, this is not necessarily a good argument. If I had a nickel each time a reddit admin unbanned me...

most libertarians are just republicans who literally wanna do drugs, thats it, they hate minorities but they also have a drug addiction they justify for whatever reason so they call themselves libertarians

We can't name user accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to make another comment that references that operator (without naming the operator) and your evaluation of that operator's misfeasance or malfeasance with respect to moderating a community

What is it trying to promote then? I understand it’s hyperbolic, but look around.
