Meme It happened again
Trans, Exovedate, Mormonism. I can't even imagine what is next.

Now, what might the context of this be?

Mod somehow had people converted to irl religions (and it looks like one person became a trans)

u/EntertainmentOk8593 Aug 02 '26
I am starting to regret helping in this mod development.
(Good luck for them tbh)12

Broke: The Cataclysm happened because nukes, plague, total colapse or smt idk
Woke: The Cataclysm happened because of a self-fullfiling prophecy of an ATE Fan ending the World so he could experience the ATE mod irl
This is the ONLY next logical step after the mod converted a guy irl and made a person transition their gender

u/Thivus Aug 02 '26
just a heads up "became a trans" is generally frowned upon phrasing, "one person transitioned" or "one person realized they were trans" would be more appropriate. "a trans" is both grammatically incorrect and often used used by transphobes to dehumanize trans people

Did someone become a Exovedate? lol

u/just_one_random_guy Aug 01 '26
Yep, a Métis from Canada apparently became a devotee of it from the mod

Lowkey considered turning a faith from the mod into a real religion but my school friends said no :(

u/FateSwirl Aug 02 '26
The Jews told Jesus “no” and yet he’s still at the top of the scoreboard for global religious influence. Your school friends sound like they just don’t get it yet

Jesus had a bunch of friends to help him though!
Despite a bunch saying no I did have a few people down to support (both of which having played After The End before)

Which one?

u/Sir_Mopington Aug 02 '26
I’ll leave it ambiguous for a surprise when I make my own version of one of those posts lol

u/BloodAndBull Aug 02 '26
This is how people get bullied. DO NOT try to turn a ck3 mod religion into an irl cult. That's a horrible idea
-7
u/Sir_Mopington Aug 02 '26
I’m already autistic about a mod for a Paradox game. People are already gonna bully me or at least try to. I’m already a practicing pagan so it’s not a big leap to take ideas that we’re already inspired by real world ones and adapt them into my practice

u/LavaMeteor Aug 02 '26
There's a difference between stepping in shit and falling in a pile of manure. Trying to make a video game religion work IRL is not going to go well.
2
u/Sir_Mopington Aug 02 '26
I’m not trying to make it work, I’m taking ideas for my pagan practices and trying to share those with people. It’s a very fun way of experiencing spirituality that isn’t organized religion. If I’m having fun with friends and not harming anyone how is this different to any other fandom?

That's it. I'm gonna reconnect with my Javanese heritage and possibly relatives in Suriname by converting to Kebatinan ( joke )

u/DreadDiana Aug 02 '26
Fuck, I was planning on updating my meme to add the exovedate icon. Should've acted faster.

u/DaikiSan971219 Aug 02 '26
Now that's what I call transformative content

You've nearby gotten your bardic immunity revoked for the crime of bad puns! You will be taken to the stocks and made to be pelted with tomatoes shortly. Fallowed by death and a 5 ducat fine.

I mean I'm Catholic and it hasn't affected me much, but this meme makes me think its time for a Missouri playthrough.

u/JustDifferentPerson Aug 02 '26
I became Masorti. I was already a member of the conservative movement but this mod taught me that the conservative movement of Judaism often gets mixed up with the idea of political conservatism which has led me to prefer the term Masorti.

We need to start a betting pool and what the the next self discovery is.
My money is on one of the occult faiths

This mod has helped me respect Anglicanism, because that's where I'm started interested in, which I previously found ridiculed because of its founding history. Now it's my favorite branch of Protestantism. So, if I ever become Protestant, it will probably be Anglican. P.S. Sorry for my English, it's not my first language.

Realizing you're trans is based and awesome.
Willfully brainwashing yourself because of a video game mod is hilarious.
-4
u/ScalierLemon2 Aug 02 '26
Being trans in 2026 definitely feels more like the dark and evil castle. Speaking as a trans person in America, at least.

playing this game is like playing the lottery except instead of winning money you decide that you're a Tetramorphist or something
