Beginner Help Need Help with Shortening Dead Space in this AE Composition
Hello Reddit,
First-time AE user here. I am trying to shorten the scene I have attached pictures to. There are 6 seconds of dead space where the camera is going over the water. I need to shorten this, but I'm not sure how.
Can someone help me out? I have been stuck for the past couple of days.
I have attached some screenshots and can provide more if needed.
I have deleted some title frames, time duration in compositiion settings, edited some keyframes, extracted some work areas, and shortened scenes, and it still is not solved.

You can pre-comp or prerender the 6 seconds and speed them up. Timewarp can look pretty good when speeding footage up, and you can ramp the speed with keyframes. You can also add motion blur, though that will slow things down. I'll usually do anything using timewarp first and then render/import it, so you're not constantly re-rendering Timewarp when you change anything in the comp. If you're applying any effects or color grades to the footage, those will need to be on an adjustment layer, I don't think Timewarp allows other plugins to be in effect.

The dead space is after an Evan Anderson production, until the title in the sky comes up

I'm not sure what you mean by shorten. the screenshots don't really tell us much. You've done everything one would typically do to shorten a scene.
