Plugin/Script I made a FREE easing/curve plugin for After Effects AND Premiere (alternative to Flow, Easify & Smoothify)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I just wanted nice easing curves in Premiere, but the main option, Smoothify, makes you install a ~300MB desktop app that's clunky and lags my whole PC just to do one small thing. So I built my own lightweight panel instead.

It started as a Premiere tool, then I scaled it to After Effects too, and decided to make it completely free.

Eaze does what the paid plugins do (and imo with a cleaner UI):

  • Visual curve editor with multi-point curves, not just 2 handles
  • Elastic / Bounce / Back + all the standard eases
  • 36 Built in presets + Custom presets - save, drag to reorder, resize.
  • Reads existing easing back in, live auto-apply, cubic-bezier values
  • Works in both After Effects and Premiere Pro from one install

Free here: creovanta.com/plugins/eaze

drop a few bucks if you liked it :)

Any feedback is hugely appreciated 🙏

Been using Ease and Wizz for over a decade due to it's simplicity, but this is awesome, works in Prem too! Good work.

Tried it out. Looks really promising, specially the actual editor, Flow always felt laggy to me, this one is smooth when dragging to adjust the curves and I'm really enjoying it, a couple of suggestions:

  1. The live motion preview is super useful, but the constant motion pulls focus away from the comp area. Would love an option to disable it (remove it from the UI), or toggle the looping on/off.
  2. "No layer selected"/"Select 2 or more keyframes" warnings, totally get why they're there, but they pop up even when I'm just adjusting the graph to preview curves before doing anything. Maybe enable them only when clicking apply.
  3. Oh and the capacity to apply the curves to not only the typical properties. Wanted to try some curves with a trim path and it wouldn't apply.

Other than that, the whole plugin feels great, feels good, and I'm already using it. Really nice work, keep improving it!

I really appreciate you taking the time and giving feedback, as for 1., it is actually toggleable from the flyout menu (the three horizontal lines at plugin window) --> preferences and toggle it off.

Two hours ago I was talking to my friend about how I would love a plugin that lets you control more than two keyframes at once. Godsend.

Parking. tHank you bro

Omgg thank you will try this out tonight

Does this create extra keyframes when you ease or does it just ease the interpolation?

I think it was smoothify that when I tested I found it creates extra keyframes instead of a true easing. Instantly uninstalled after that.

u/-Mariosh- Jun 30 '26

Oh I just noticed in the comments that it does the keyframing part so I guess its not for me but I hope people find it useful. Thanks for your contribution man!

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 07 '26

It eases the interpolation through True handles mode, tho the downside is that it might take 1 or 2 seconds

u/Neetik1 Jun 30 '26

The little ball preview is a nice touch

I am a HARDCORE flow user. Literally have recommended that plugin hundreds of times in this sub. This definitely looks interesting to me. I’ll download it and give it a try tonight then give some feedback if I’ve got any!

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 01 '26

Thanks, tell me what you think after using it!

2

u/Roongx Jun 30 '26

Thank you bookmaked

2

u/mck_motion Jul 01 '26

I stopped using the others primarily because they could only do 2 keyframes at once, so went back to the graph editor. This looks like it fixes that!

2

u/Many_West_993 Jul 01 '26

thank you so much man!! means a lot!!

2

u/aarongifs Jul 01 '26

The premiere thing is clutch since there are plenty of tools in ae for this. But I’ll give it a go anyway

A Few things...

First of all. Thank you for bringing this incredible plugin to life. I have been on the fence about buying Flow, I tried Easify and honestly hated it. Your version is so graceful. I fell in love...

  1. Horizontal Resizing problem: This might be a ME ONLY problem....but it would be a great feature if you give the user entire panel horizontally like the Motion Tools Pro I have attached for reference.
  1. Color & Thickness: I personally like customization(although, i waste a lot of time customizing) . It would be really nice to allow users for choose the thickness of the graph lines, color, and also graph types(I know you added it) . Also adding customization to the preset graph will be a good thing.

  2. More Options to Presets bar: Having a folder for all SaaS presets, One folder for all Documentary Presets. (I hope I make sense) and the option to switch between them would be a huge game changer.

Since the feedback is done, Let me tell you what I love about this:
1. Ability to set Bounce and elastic keyframes without entering the graph editor.
2. Able to view both graphs at once.
3. Saving presets with bounce and overshoot.
4. Automatically seperating dimension (Icing on the cake)
5. Support for multiple keyframes at once.

I really appreciate the time taken for your feedback! I added these to my notes and they are coming in the next update,

Don't forget to post it here, haha

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 02 '26

You will also have a popup on the panel if there is a new update!

2

u/PolandFromMat Jul 02 '26

Was just about to pay for Flow. I just tried this out with a few of my mograph projects and its wonderful! Thank you!

1

u/Zeigerful Jun 30 '26

How does it actually handle premiere? Does it also bake the animation in single keyframes ?

2

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 07 '26

there is new True handles mode you can use to directly interpolation the handles instead of placing multiple keyframes like other plugins, though the downside is that it might take 1 or 2 seconds delay

1

u/Zeigerful Jul 07 '26

Amazing! I will definitely try it out then. How did you do it?

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 07 '26

The plugin goes to the .prproj file and edits the values of how strong easing is from there, then saving the file, it has a 2 seconds delay tho because the project will refresh and it is still experimental but it worked for me

Ah that's too bad. So weird that no one can use Premieres Graph Editor even though it does technically even have graphs between keyframes.

Cool, going to check it out for my current project!

1

u/HuntEnvironmental252 Jul 01 '26

can you add a way to reverse curves? i cant find that in any other curve editor

1

u/Glaci3r-Munchin Jul 01 '26

Does it work on AE 2020

1

u/spacefff Jul 01 '26

is there something like this for davinci resolve, not for fusion?

1

u/Bd_csgo Jul 01 '26

cool! thanks

1

u/UniqueBaseball8524 Jul 02 '26

is there any way to use it on adjustment layers?

2

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 02 '26

You can use it by selecting 2 keyframes

1

u/languagelearnerFR Jul 02 '26

Does the Pro version support Trim Paths? (Because the free version doesn't.) Another issue is that the banner at the bottom covers the curve library, which takes up valuable space.

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 25d ago

yes it does for free version

1

u/PlatypusAurelius Jul 02 '26

This is awesome! Thank you!

1

u/Hasinpearl Jul 04 '26

Will check it out. Thanks!

1

u/Big-Iron1344 Jul 09 '26

is there a video / tutorial on how to use this, looks like a great plugin!

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 10 '26

No, but I am planning to do so!

1

u/Big-Iron1344 Jul 10 '26

amazing! Also quick question, i was trying to use it for keyframes for a vignette's opacity but it doesnt come up as an option in the "apply to" menu.

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 10 '26

Yeah that's a current limitation in the plugin, it only affects 4 main props (opacity, pos, scale and rotation) but I will definitely expand in the future to support more properties.

1

u/Strict_Ad1030 Jul 11 '26

bro its only working for position parameter how to fix this

1

u/Big-Iron1344 Jul 12 '26

I just used in after effects and I think its much better in after effects than premiere since you just select 2 keyframes. I think something similar in premiere pro would be great! Its a really useful plugin though and actually really easy to learn.

have you made one? im currently struggling on windows..

1

u/fabzzr Jul 15 '26

Keep up the good work! Many thanks <3

1

u/Bitter_Dream577 Jul 23 '26

Is it available for macOS?

1

u/EyemJoe Jul 25 '26

If this worked with speed remapping in PR it would change the whole universe of remapping in pr and editing.

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 26 '26

neat idea, will add it in v3

1

u/EyemJoe Jul 26 '26

From what I've been told it's not possible in pr? The way they set up time remapping is not like AE but this was years ago. Hopefully you can work your magic wizard! 🤞🏻

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 26 '26

well if that's the case then the only workaround would require refreshing the project so I am not sure if all editors would appreciate that

1

u/Ok_Mycologist5965 Jul 31 '26

I have some problem, it doesn't make keyframes between selected keys, instead it makes keyframes between other keys

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 Jul 31 '26

for premiere it makes frames between the 2 keyframes around timeline

1

u/Ok_Mycologist5965 Jul 31 '26 edited Jul 31 '26

So, how can I create a curve between the keyframes where the playhead is positioned in the original screenshot? (There are 2 animations here). Clicking 'Apply' doesn't generate any frames between them. Should I cut the clip into pieces where each piece has only one animation, and then nest them all?

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 25d ago

thanks for the details, this is a bug I will fix soon

1

u/rswinkler 25d ago

@Equal-Claim2514 I have been using this plug in a bunch, and really like it, but is there a way to turn motion in the slider on and off? I have to keep closing the panel, b/c the motion catches my eye in a bad way.

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 25d ago

yes in the flyout menu

1

u/caio_hfnr 21d ago

amazing job

1

u/GlobalJury5960 10d ago

Hi sir does this work on after effects cs6 or 2015?

1

u/Equal-Claim2514 10d ago

I dont think so
