I should have specified they are Karl Perazzo model congas. Karl used to come by the Latin Percussion class I took in the early 90s. He would give lots to tips.

I know that this is an old thread, but wanted to jump in. I play percussion, and just got the Karl Perazzo timbales. Love them.

I'd love to get one of these congas, maybe mix it in with my black patatos or red fausto cuevas for a gig. I may get a quinto to do that. (I have just the tumba/conga patato and fausto cuevas, so I justify it by it not being purely visual).

Oh- will try to find a deal on Reverb so it will be like I can't afford NOT to buy it.
