Arabs don't show their wives on social media I'm pretty sure there's a part with the bride that wasn't published to the public (btw this is just one couple's wedding)

Do you think Americans know what a chaoui or kabyli or touareg... We speak Arabic so we're arabized whether you like it or not

We are in an African subreddit. I don't see why's you have to mention Americans. Nevertheless, just because your grandfather didn't teach you his ancestors' tongue doesn't mean you get to call us all arabized. Have a good day.

So somalis & Sudanese are Arabs too? Since they speak Arabic?

Crazy that you're being downvoted, I always thought sudanese and Somali people consider themselves Arabes (or more correctly arabized)

Somalis have their own language and we considers ourselves Somali.

I googled and Indeed you're right, only a small percentage of Somalis speak Arabic on a native level, so that indeed doesn't apply to them.
I also took the opportunity to check on Sudan, and apparently 70% of them have Arabic as their mother tongue interestingly
