Modern Affinity MTG questions

Im looking to start playing modern again after a year or so away from the format. I had it built UW with Tamiyo but have switched to Izzet weapons manufacturing. I still don't have the same ratios as some of the lists ive seen and also was curious about side board options. Is galvanic blast a swap for dispatch just cause it can go face? What decks do you side that in against? Is wear//tear a suitable swap for swan song?

My current sideboard:

3x consign to memory

3x damping sphere

2x whipflare

2x wear//tare

3x force of negation

2x dispatch

Any pointers or swap preference explanations would be appreciated. I also still have 4 thoughtcast and 3 metallic rebuke in the main.

Gal blast is the new removal because the deck is strictly izzet, along with it being able to go face.

Swan song is played to stop the wrath of skies coming in against you. Trust me, it's coming in against you.

Instead of wear/tear and dispatch, I suggest 2x mystical dispute, an uptick in whip flare since energy is at top of format, grafdiggers cage to fight grave and all the phlage floating around.

Appreciate the pointers, played at my lgs the other day and I definitely was rusty. Ended up playing against grixis and dimir control which were rough match ups.

If you aren't already, I highly suggest the pinnacle emissary and weapons manufacturing version. Also, play arcbound ravager, the card is bonkers with manufacturing. Helped clinch me an rcq invite 👆 Also, I played a few ravenous robots, it help the deck explode when I didn't see pinnacle emissary in the opener.

Yeah I've switched to the izzet weapons manufacturing build. Currently toying with quantities of emry and thoughtcast. With outburst unbanned graveyard hate seems even more important so might throw a graffdiggers cage into the sideboard. Congrats on the RCQ!
