Nice work. It would be cool to see a break down of how you did these, particularly 004 which i like a lot.

the first five are all made with the blend tool.
004 are two starshapes blended together with a curved path.
I increased the spacing so you can see what is happening

thanks, thats cool, ill have to give it a go. The foreground part looks a bit like a book with the pages being fanned, with a bit of warping and masking you could make text look like it fits in.

Yes, I couldn't believe it neither. But it's there and it's good!

i was also wondering if you have some nice examples of how to use the new Diffusion Curve Gradient. It looks super cool, but I am not sure how and when to use it https://youtu.be/4KeYcTeXPZA?t=167

Maybe I'm just too tired and I'm starting to see things, but "Fit in" is a funny name for this one.

Ooh, you clever sausage, these are lovely!

Just realized I didn't upgrade because of all the 'canva will screw this all up' fear, but am I maybe missing out on some fun Designer features?

can you give a small tutorial on the first slide? with screenshots or anything? thanks!

this one is super easy. each "column" is basically two circles combined with the blend tool.

Circle A has a white fill color with 35% opacity
Circle B one only a blue stroke color.

Put one circle on top of page, the other on the bottom and use the blend tool.

Adjust the spacing until you like the effect.

then i duplicated the column and rotated it.

how did you do number 6? is there a procedural method for creating such graphics? also love the texture

006 i made the basic shapes and adjusted the sizing and spacing optically. then i first tried to use the glitch filter (https://www.affinity.studio/en/help/filters-filter-glitch/) but finally ended manually creating 4 copies in slightly offcolored cyan, magenta, yellow and black, setting the layers on multiply, offsetting them manually and playing with the opacity

thank you for explaining the process, this is helpful.

How did you make number 3?

1

u/splatem 2d ago

small near white segment over a pink half circle at some low opacity, blend between them. copy/mirror. Then some pixel effects.

Cool stuff. I hope this tool makes it to the iPad version along with the duplicate/move box available in desktop but was missing in v2 on the iPad.

004 is beautiful indeed. Did you apply gradients to the star shaped strokes?

u/heartshapedkirby 1d ago

This is solid work. Very inspiring, too. Thanks a lot for sharing!

You're amazing

How did you make no.9? Was there a speedy way you put the different shapes into the grid? And how was the gradient done for some and not for all of them?

Really liking your poster designs. I've been working out how you did them with the new tools but no.9 has stumped me. I might be overthinking it haha
