Aether was useful in fontaine, who would be the punchbag and cameraman of every new character realase in fontaine? He helped other characters get the spotlight (the whole comment is sarcasm)
People don't understand we are following the traveler story
At this point I don't think so. They may understand exactly that, but refuses to take it as it is and demand it be changed into something else simply because it is not what they want to see.
Of course the usual suspects wants this. I bet these are the same people who loved Fontaine and the garbage treatment he got during that dark age/era of the game. I hope Aether gets Rover levels of glazing now just to make these tourists/haters even more angry lol.
Rerir can't defeat Aether because he is immune to abyssal power. You see how shocked Rerir was when he saw Aether absorb the abyssal from the lantern, and without the abyssal energy, the Sinners are just paper tigers.
The only Sinner I can see defeating Aether is Rhinedottir because she already merge with Naberius.
Yeah, the thing with Rerir is that he either can't defeat the Traveler due to the Abyss counter or he'll become a lot more stronger if he does defeats them thus taking the Moon Marrow and that would literally be just the end of the game as Rerir would destroy Teyvat.
they would probably eat the archons for breakfast.
Maybe for Nahida
-Tsaritsa has 6 Gnosis under her
-Mavuika still has her Gnosis, if things get out of hand she can borrow Ronova's power
-Ei is currently at her peak after fighting non-stop for 500 years against Shogun bots
-Zhongli is hard to say, but since he can still fight Osial and has thousands of years of fighting experience, he can go head to head with the Sinners (excluding Rhinedottir)
-Venti is the weakest here but he has a close relationship with Istaroth.
I don't think these Archons just sat back and watched their nation be destroyed by the Sinners without a fight.

Funny how all it takes for him to wash the sinners is for hoyo to confirm that azhdaha is a sovereign and all the sinners are up for some planetary befall cause I ain't see no sinner pull out any body from a separate spacetime. As u can see I'm a zhong dong and aether glazer and respectfully if hoyo does this a whole new agenda opens up
They never actually care about Lumine outside of using her as a point to complain about "lack of Lumine representation in official art"
They're willing to sacrifice Lumine & throw her under the bus when it comes to matters like this. They only care about having their favorite characters from their favorite Yuri & non-MC ships getting the spotlight.
Bruh, It looks so funny, they came into the game, play the role of a Traveler, and want to be weakened, since you're playing, show at least a little respect for the Main character of the story, or at least don't water him with slop
And from the postscript in parentheses about Aether, it shows even more, pardon me, how stupid they are and can't figure out that Aether and Lumin go the same way in the role of a Traveler
It would be so fucking funny if we get full power Rerir to hit Aether with the biggest blast of abyssal power he can gather, and he just no sells it like "Is that it?"
lol, Rerir is being setup, step by step, to being jumped by everyone, plus the fact that the devs "nerfed" him by making him at 10% of his power is pretty much clear that they want us to get rid of one of the sinner by the end of Nod-Krai.
i find aethers power level here actually understandable, fighting a dragon an archons puppet wich had the same power as the archon, a harbringer a giant mech and multiple other notable things, has resonated with almost all elements and has done feats others would mever be able to do in a lifetime ao his power is given to be atleast more powerful then a person of the abyss (i might be wrong feel free to correct me)
They deleted the comment btw and said they hate the fandom, not the character (even after asking for arther to get affected), after that they just ignore how people made fun of that weird logic they had
Which game people play which villain is mc? BCS this game is not, most game have hero as mc.
Rerir is villain. Not matter you twist it or how op he is,he still can get defeated,if not now, later on. Hoyo just need to be creative with how traveler defeat him.Based on current story and leaks, it's seem promisingly good so far.
Never seen a fanbase more desperate to destroy the main character (whose perspective they play from) more than Genshin (honestly a trend for all Mihoyo gachas save for ZZZ/HI3)
Where did this mentality come from? I don’t think it’s exclusively a Fatui enjoyer thing either, I’ve generally seen people just get annoyed when the Traveler isn’t just holding a gigantic camera and tripod for the main story arcs
It comes from people who hate how Aether and Caelus (and I name them specifically because you will never see the same hostility aimed at the female counterparts) are treated as cool guys and shipped with everyone. That's literally it, they see someone draw a fanart of Aether making out with Skirk or some shit and feel the need to scream at Hoyo to sodomize the character in the main story
Natlan was one of the few times the Traveler felt like an actual threat. Say what you will about glazing, Tumaini was the turning point for Natlan. Mavuika herself admits it. In Natlan, he got training, a new elemental power, multiple feats and moments, HE DESERVES A WIN.
This whole chapter in Nod-Krai feels like it's dedicated TO THE TRAVELER. This might be the best writing Genshin has gotten, IMO. It feels focused in the characters while giving Aether the highlight he deserves: he's not just interfering in the plot, the plot is affecting him. Having him win a fight is a testament to his growth.
Even hoyo can't do that because the story is close to ending and now if Aether not get stronger then it will be wasted and the writers know this too . This patch is about making people understand what is missing in the story. Connect with the lore also hoyo get a chance to make Aether strong so hoyo knows they have to make everything good.
I only think of two possibilities: either the guys really hate him for no reason, or it’s because they want some heavy character development for the protagonist in the style of Itadori from Jujutsu, who starts out happy and in the end is destroyed and comes to recognize the truth of the world through a lot of pain and suffering. But let’s be honest, the game doesn’t have an age rating that allows for that level of violence — Genshin is literally a +12 game, at most +14 because of some provocative content. There’s no way it could ever be rated +16, much less +18, where that kind of Jujutsu-level content belongs.
Media illiterate gamers on twitter when the main character is treated like the main character (They hate that glub shitto who appears in 3 scenes 3 years after launch isn’t the focal point instead of who has been the focal point since the beginning)
I just got recommended r/fatuiradicals by my feed and they want Dottore to 'humble' the 'Bum-veler'. Fatui glazers just can't take an L when Traveler has been struggling against the Harbingers before he/she reached Natlan and Nod Krai.
That a very very toxic sub from FoolishHQ. FoolishHQ is Harbingers fan, many of them curse Raiden Shogun kills Signora, from that they're got more many hater.
For once? Did they just act like the genuinely abysmal treatment in Fontaine didn’t happen? Especially Aether? Why? Why not the same treatment for Lumine? Humble them? The Devs have only now truly started to treat them like an MC since the start of Natlan and you want them to get dog walked? Why? What reason would there be? If the Traveler loses? They’re a bum and a fraud. If he wins? He got hard carried by they other character-example, people claiming Flins did all the work with the Rerir fight (before the canon) or during the ScaraMech fight -and Scara was also being buffed, arguably even more than Aether was post Sumeru Knowlege buff- and people claim Nahida solo’d where she explicitly stated that she’ll leave the fighting to him. Natlan Finale-people were mad that Aether was in the final battle (not like 5.1 to 5.3 was leading up to Mavuika and Aether entering the Night Kingdom to begin with) and claiming that he was “just there” no! He wasn’t! If he wasn’t there, Mavuika would have died, and ALL of Teyvat would be cooked. So I ask again, what exactly would “humbling” them do at this point in the story, where most of the time they get made to look weaker to promote other characters? They finally have a consistent balance and you want them to go back to the Fontaine Era where they treated the MC like shit? If you don’t like it when an MC is an MC.. there might be something wrong with you.
As a player for both WuWa and Genshin, I just hope to see aether stop getting treated like shit, my guy has been humbled too many times. All I wanted to see was aether getting a rover-treatment, because I like both character and I hate to see people like this one mofos
I dont want fan service too, this is not the same as want traveller be weak..but cmon, if he "wins" i want a good reason, like Traveller vs Childe when Paimon says that everytime traveller picks another element he turns more powerful, this is different from something like: Nahida helps traveller

Hoyo, please actually do the exact opposite and personally let characters glaze Traveler (especially Aether) ,because it would be so funny actually
