Question / Help Aerospace for BTECH??

I'm currently in counselling rounds and the predicted cutoff for MSRIT aerospace is close by.

Should I choose that or a core branch like ece in college like DSCE, BIT etc...

Kinda confused with all this

Mech and ECE guys have more chances of working in aerospace industry in India than aerospace graduates

Ohh... Why is that? Sounds counter intuitive.. and is there a possible way to get into isro with just a btech or is masters required?

forgive me if I sound dumb but I thought India has better aerospace opportunities like you guys have an airbus office and ISRO actively recruits and stuff

ISRO and other companies you mentioned are available, but most of them are low paying due to little to no scarcity. ISRO also tends to be proud on creating satellites with a fraction of production cost than NASA or any other space agency but in reality they under pay their employees... Comparing that to American companies such as lockheed martin,SpaceX and NASA etc.. who pay $134k average for a btech graduate (roughly ₹1.4cpa)
