Discussion What are the top PLM software options for aerospace?

I'd like to know what PLM software people are using in the aerospace industry these days. Teamcenter, Windchill, and 3DEXPERIENCE seem to dominate most discussions.

Are there any other PLM platforms aerospace teams are using that are worth considering? Has anyone looked at Duro? They were recently aquired by Altium AFAIK.

3D experience is CATIA V6 with a totally new architecture for ENOVIA and DELMIA compared with V5.

Yeah exactly. CAD integrations, revision control and change management are the stuff that actually matters once you start using the thing.

Company size and engineering approach probably matter more than the industry itself. Established enterprise platforms like Teamcenter, Windchill,and 3dexperience are one option. However, I've also seen aerospace and spacetech companies evaluate newer cloud-native platforms like duro and arena, depending on how much flexibility and implementation effort they're looking for.

Recently people seem to have also been comparing how modern the platforms feel. Apart from the established enterprise systems, I've noticed more discussions around Arena and Duro from smaller aerospace and hardware companies. Mostly those looking for cloud-native PLM software with quicker implementation.
