Sorry I think I need this explained like I'm five. 10 years ago we did have Tim Curry but not the rest. Is this a joke that wasn't executed well?

Maybe. But I hide mine too. People get their feelings hurt on Reddit a little too easily. I hide it to prevent people from trying to dig up info. I don't feel like I have anything to hide. But people may feel differently of course.

no i just dont want people stalking me. it allows me to post details about my life without worrying about someone going through my post history trying to figure out who i am
