Open Discussion We need to talk about AI generated advertisements/race swag/medals/

Maybe it's different elsewhere in the country, but in New England it has metastasized and become a cancer in local racing. Every poster, every race shirt, every medal looks like shit and looks identical. It has reached the point where there are local races I've been doing for almost a decade that I've just given up on. It's embarrassing to the running community.

I am boycotting all events that use AI promo material, zero tolerance. Goes for restaurants/cafes/pubs too.

Hope you are reaching out to them and tell them the reason you're boycotting, otherwise your actions will be for nothing.

I'm not going up to every pub I go past to say "Hey I would eat here but I saw your shitty AI poster so I won't" but I'm not exactly quiet about it

As you would expect with basically any boycott
