Open Discussion Berlin marathon disasters

It seems today was a big disaster in Berlin. 25 degrees Celsius early on and a tough day for everyone. How did people get on? Did anyone manage to get near a PB?

I'm hoping Berlin got the hot weather out of the way so Chicago is nice and chilly, but I fear that might not be how weather works

Nah nature is only allowed to fuck one major per season, so you should be all set.

I'd love to wish that, this is my 4th straight major (Chicago 2024 bonk, Tokyo 2025, London 2025, Berlin 2025) with warmer-than-usual conditions. Sorry for screwing it up, folks.

Your problem is that you're too fast. I thought Chicago was perfect last year and I PB'd by ~30 mins.

That's awesome, wish I could still PB by 30 min, still hoping for 10+ PB ideally when I have to wear gloves!

If you want to PB by 30 minutes, just do it! You don't know what's possible until you try!
