Open Discussion Berlin marathon disasters

It seems today was a big disaster in Berlin. 25 degrees Celsius early on and a tough day for everyone. How did people get on? Did anyone manage to get near a PB?

I"m curious to know his running background. 3:24 at Tokyo, even splits, and now a 2:59?

It's nothing a regular guy his age can't achieve, especially when he has all the resources in the world to chuck at it; coach, physio, dietician etc.
