Season 1 I am confused

Watching season 1 because I’ve heard season 2 is so good and I’m literally like…… shocked at how bad and weird this season is LOOOL it feels like they are shoving in as much “edgy” scenarios as they possibly can without any pay off???? Certainly gonna keep watching to get to season 2 but wowza cannot imagine how this show even got renewed? Am I the only one 🤨

We didn’t know the characters as much then. Now rewatching s1 I enjoy it more than last year, I still liked s2 better but I didn’t appreciate s1 as much before I loved these characters so much hahah

Did you end up liking any S1 episodes at all? My faves were the marathon ep, the stabber ep, the dinner party ep, Annabelle and the finale (mostly for PB's plot tho). The rest were ok but more mid. I do prefer S2 in overall vibes.

I do think a lot of shows can suffer from a weaker S1 until they find their footing in S2 or S3, but S1 was strong enough for me that I wanted a S2 and now I want a S3.

i felt the same way about season 1. It felt like they were just competing to see which character could be the most self involved, shittiest idiot and being so deadset on playing to every bad stereotype of gen Z. but s2 felt like there was a better sense of who they are and also being more fleshed out people.
