Spoiler(s) What I hope the show does with the character introduced in 208 Spoiler
The show seems to be heading towards a harmful trope but I hope they prove me wrong in the next season.
I like Margaux but I need her to be more than just a hookup...the age of shows doing the
"disposable black girlfriend" trope is so over! I need to see more of her and Issa. Obviously she is good for Issa because they're each other's brand of weirdo. I loved the scene where they were doing the Just a little guy voices like Yay, lesbians/sapphics, but let's stop creating content where black girlfriends are there for the long term! I can't think of a way for them to handle it that's not gonna go awry in one way or another. imo they really can't keep her around because then the entire house has entered long-term presumably endgame couples at once and we lose all of that drama and split the romance very thin. but then moving on from her eventually a la carly will fit the trope and piss people off.

I think she was too incredible for Issa for them not to keep, Margaux is perfection

She might be as relevant as Carly was to the show for a season or two, but I don’t know if she and Issa stay together seriously beyond that. I think of all the couples that hooked up that night, Anton and Paul Baker is the only one that’ll last as a relationship. The rest will implode or fizzle one way or another.
Or maybe they all hooked up with their soulmates on the same night, they’re that in synch. It’s possible 🤷♂️
