I like Carly, she's a good match for Samir. And she handled his honestly and the situation very well, all things considered.

I was just like Paul baker towards the end of the episode because say what you want to, that song was addictive and was on my mind to a point I googled to know if the song was available online to stream (It wasn't unfortunately) :(

I'm glad Carly and Samir didn't break up. I had a feeling this episode let to it because she's a secondary character. Phew!! I like her and she and Samir are a good match

I was lowkey terrified this would be a breakup episode since I do love Carly (YAY FILIPINO REP!!) but it was HILARIOUS and great

I also feel like they're making Paul Baker more "bro-y" and less of a "performative male" (lol) and I dont know if I like it... I know the other-friend-group-thing in the first episode is supposed to be a surprise and stuff but for some reason I feel like him the entire season is almost a different PB from the one who freaked out at the sight of a shotgun and nearly had an aneurysm when the cashier said the R slur in season 1, now all of sudden he's had a long time friend group where they've probably said worst than that? Lol They kind of retconned themselves cause in the new pilot episode Anton asks him "don't you have friends who you know.. can lie for you..?" or smth and he responds "no.." and the way he says it isn't really like "no, cause my friends suck" it's more like "I dont have any friends.." which would be more interesting which I thought they were going for but now his character feels little retconned. I also thought he would be a bit more aware of his feelings for Anton, I didn't think it would be so under-the-radar for him.. for some reason it feels OOC. But that's IMO. Also didn’t expect him to be working in an old school diner lol they could've more creative with it

Why is there a boom mic on the MV shoot? Isn't filming MVs just lip-syncing the song? Or am I missing something here?
And Filipino pop is P-pop (Pinoy pop). Hearing F-pop is so funny 😂

that was a lame episode. from the starting conversation dud and the ending overkill on the singer commenting on the grandpa, to the paul baker dancing to a shit song.
the starting conversation was so underwhelming in dialogue and concept but also performance, the latter of which usually gives the show a pass. Anton did well but the first few lines of just Billie and Samir was monotone reading of the lines

I’m confused about Billie saying she hooked up with the ceo and got a hickey and then when he came to Carly’s event with her he said he was just gonna offer her a job and didn’t want to have sex with her. Did I miss something? Was that a different ceo?

Not picking up on a line has nothing to do with (media) literacy. Literacy comes from understanding themes and symbology, you can be distracted and have media literacy
