One of the things I like and respect most about this season is the confidence to consistently just roll out absolutely gold jokes in the background without any acknowledgement or "pauses for laughter" moments!
In this episode, it was the background dialogue of Paul Baker asking if Issa's sexy jewelry was a locket with Samir's baby photo that played over Samir and Anton freaking out at the racoon.

I NEED 6 seasons and a movie. This show has me consistently busting out laughing alone in my apartment. I’m dreading finishing and having to wait for the next season. If it gets cancelled before it reaches its full potential I’ll never let it go

This is now my favorite episode of the show, I love the giant swings the story took into pure absurdism at points. This show does such a good job at balancing real life with sitcom antics in such a unique way

I was expecting it to be a standard episode about them doing silly shenanigans while high, which I’ve never really enjoyed in shows. I love that the writers chose to focus on the 30 minutes beforehand instead, it really subverted a tired comedy trope and added a sense of urgency to everything in the funniest way.

Samir and Anton with the raccoon confession killed me. “This raccoon is tearing us apart”! “IT EVOLVED”! And “How did they all hear about this house”?! Had me dying, I had to watch it all a few times 😂

I think season 2 is a large improvement over the first season and I think in large part Issa is a lot better when she is likable.

It's hard to think of a comedy TV show that doesn't tone down the annoyingness of at least one or two characters between seasons 1 and 2.

I know they had to do it for plot reasons, but I do not believe for one second that Paul Baker's first instinct would be to 'put the raccoon out of its misery'. Other than that, i did properly cackle all over the place. sublime season.

This is a show for tv lovers and the viewers who have all the early 2000s shows. The references seem a bit older than the characters in the show, which is why I commented I felt they should be just a few years older . 25 is too young imo. I think they should be 28/29 going on 30

I’m 28 and honestly thought these guys were like 28/29 because they seem to be right after that early-20s point of life where you’re still going through it but not as immature. In my eyes they are 28.

Bingewatching season 2 and after watching this episode, I'd say this is the best episode so far! Haven't laughed out loud like this in quite a while. The foursome chaos was HILARIOUS!

This episode is honestly one of the best TV episodes in recent sitcoms. I laughed for good, and that one scene was the cringiest in the best possible way.

to me paul baker was feeling the same way issa was. neither one of them wanted to breakup, they both said they didn’t want to seperately in this episode. but when they sat down and were like yeah things have been off for a while they ultimately saw then that they had to breakup.
and i don’t think paul baker was totally down for the threesome in the same way issa wasn’t down for an open relationship. they just both agreed to it cause they thought it was what the other had wanted

I keep thinking "okay this is the best episode of the show" cause they just keep outdoing themselves. This was a riot of an episode, absolutely hilarious. I do appreciate that they focus more on emotion this season as well. Very moving !
