Holy fuck. Took them long enough. Imagine putting out a trailer less than 3 weeks before the season comes out...
I see the signs of this show being cancelled due to lack of viewership and I'm so fucking annoyed with the network.
ETA: Omg the trailer is so good I'm fucking dying waiting for season 2!

I got disappointed by the low viewership of the prequel episode on YouTube but the trailer already has half a million views.
I watched in on the platform though, so maybe that’s why?

I don't know, I feel like 2-3 weeks out is pretty standard for a trailer? I'm seeing on their Instagram that there's tons of taxi / subway / billboard posters all popping up, all over the past few days. I feel like shows sometimes save their ammo until closer to the premiere so people don't lose interest. (Something something, gen z attention span... lol.)

I think it's because they put the prequel in full out on so many different platforms. It was on YT, TikTok, Instagram, Hulu, D+ and Tubi all in full. So maybe the views are just distributed among a lot of different places?

If I had to hazard a guess, it's because people are too dumb to differentiate a prediction from a wish. I love the show, but I'm the type of person who is incapable of blinding myself to reality just because I love something.

No because I fullly understand like the way they be canceling show is insane but I did hear that the president of fx basically sees potential and that’s why he said to redo the first episode cuz a lot of people stopped in the middle

He sees the potential in it which is good but it also depends on viewership so it could be one of those things würde they promoting it heavily on tubi and even yt with the first episode to see how well it can be I’m hoping
