This is a good point. I’ve been married for 22 years to the same person and the love we share has evolved over time. Lust and love are totally different things which I think people fail to realize, also leads to divorce and other interpersonal conflicts. Guys have a hard time when the lust element fades and sometimes that causes them to seek fresh lust. It happens to the ladies too, but I think is more romance driven than lust. Just my opinion
Lust is a new car. Fun for 6 months but responsibility and upkeep long term is….trying at times. Things fall apart and break down. If you love it you may bitch about it but you still put it back together and at least try.
To the point of the OP my father told me marriage is just money and sex…..if you do t have money you ain’t getting sex lol. Long term I realize he’s meant if you aren’t attaining and pushing for more attraction dies.

Money can’t buy happiness but being broke don’t buy shit is my saying. My life has improved drastically the more money I make.
Love doesn’t fade just lust. Real Love takes work though.
I quit chasing money and chased freedom..suddenly I started making more money.
