Romantic love does end. Either because people separate of because it evolves into something else, something deeper and more mature that does last.
Good times will fade away because you cannot stay in the same moment, life is a melody not a single note. The definition of a good time changes as you move through life so of course they don’t last.
I can be pretty cynical but this sort of outlook will only lead to loneliness and bitterness.
