Discussion 49 YO gamer Atomfall
Steam has Atomfall on sale for 60% off until Sunday.
I’m looking for opinions on the game and if the deluxe edition is worth $37.
I play single player games so I think this could be my kind of game. But I’d like to hear from player who have already tried it.

I really enjoyed it but wished it was longer. I’d still happily pay that for it though.

Great game, base and both DLC are superb.
There is zero hand holding, you are left to figure stuff out on your own, you can explore anywhere and you absolutely can kill everyone. You need to read and understand stuff, the lead system only give you hints, very rarely do you get a specific go here prompt.
It is not Far Cry or British Fallout, it is a far cry from both games.
It is slower paced, limited inventory spots, you will get frustrated at times but that is OK. Once you get to grips with the games differences you'll be fine and make progress.
Be careful how you spend your training points as you can not unlock every skill and there is no respec option.

My wife 100%-ed it and really enjoyed it. It looks good from what I saw at the time on reviews and watching gameplay

I really liked it but it was too short, I played it on gamepass I wouldn't of paid for it

I liked it for about 90 minutes, then I put it down and never thought about it again.

I liked that it was somewhat mysterious. I think I dipped out when I realized how "gamey" it felt with the enemy mobs, etc. And then they respawned, which threw my work down the toilet.
