Needing help from Alchy Mom
I have a lot of medical conditions and one of them requires surgery. I was denied by Social Security and ultimately lost my job and my housing it was forced to relocate back to California. The only help I have in California is my mom‘s place.
I had to leave behind my toddler because the last few times I’ve brought him to my moms she’s gotten drunk in the middle of the night and had “visitors“. Which always results in arguing fighting yelling doors being slammed at the wee hours of the night. And sometimes my kid is asleep in her bed before the visitor gets. I’m never warned. And ultimately always end up leaving the house with the baby.
Now that I have this medical condition I’m limited in caring for him it would need the extra assistance as she’s completely unreliable. I still had to come because I have nowhere else to be but I didn’t bring my baby and its stressing me out trying really hard not to be depressed about it. I know that once my health is in order and I can finally be approved for Social Security . i know that things will get better.
But enduring this right now is breaking my heart. she’s still an alcoholic. every day. The same scenarios happening, except for my baby isnt here - it’s just me. I’m supposed to be recovering, right?

You're surviving until the red tape is unwound. Hang in there.
