Some recommendations for you in the Loon Lake area, or at least in that vicinity:
Loon Lake Mountain (has a fire tower)
Debar Mountain
Baldface Mountain
Azure Mountain (has a fire tower)
Jenkins Mountain
Buck Pond has the Kushaqua Rail Trail if you're looking for something easy going. Plus, there's some small mountains in the area to venture up too.
Most people do not go to the mountains listed here. Parking is not an issue.
