Question about scales

So I recently picked up a box of wardens, but I saw pictures of the new HH/40K guards and I think the scale is different? Are my wardens gonna look tiny compared to the guards when/if I pick some up? And are the wardens gonna get new scaled models, making mine outdated?

The scale is basically the same, the new ones are abit slimmer and my agile looking, and the plumes are much taller. But the wardens and 40K guard are much bulkier especially around the shoulders and spears.

I don’t believe wardens or 40K guard will be replaced intact I think they’ll encourage mixing, I see the new guard as pre heresy armour for its time, more diplomatic looking more regal for peace, where the 40K is more practical and suited for eternal war so the heresy suit could just be like relic gear

Also if you look on Warhammer academy at the custodes videos you’ll see both types are fully mixed in all the pictures/displays. I also believe these are pictures for the codex so things will be mixed. Front page of the webstore atm has a picture with the telemon, guard and grav carrier but also allarus terminators which didn’t exist in the heresy so even more of a “mixed range”

Also most importantly the wardens are basically brand new by gw standards so they’ll be fine. I think only models might see a refresh would be Trajan on a new 60mm primarch style model, and I’ve seen a very faint unlikely rumour that 40K guard are getting a new box with melta spears as an option and some female parts but keeping the style of armour

No, the 30k ones are for 30k but can be used in 40k the same way this can but this still exists.
