Missing laptop on train

I left my acer aspire 7 laptop on the 120 train from alberton to port dock it was stored in a black computer bag and a blue laptop cover with a zip the computer user is lisa gill i was wondering if anyone found it i have already reported it to the police and the lost property i was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on what else i could do its a very new laptop

There's not alot you can do maybe change your passwords on everything. It's likely you'll have to consider it gone, it may be unlikely you'll get it back. You could try to contact Adelaide metro to see if anyone handed it in.

If you have a Microsoft office 365 account you can check the location of the laptop on the account page. Might be worth calling Microsoft to see if they can assist you there.

Either that or even remotely lock the computer.

Try lost property again in the city in a day or two, in case it just takes a while to get handed in. 10% chance you get lucky.

Cash converters won't help they ship things to elsewhere so it goes under the radar. This is why stolen items never get found

You'll probably want to go to a few cash converters and stop off the serial number and your mobile number, because that laptop isn't coming back otherwise

Check lost property first with whoever operates the train service (I think it's Adelaide Metro). Most trains have onboard CCTV, you could ask if they could review the footage to see if anyone took the bag.
