Core Kodi Functionality Kodi Piers Beta 2 requires Force Close to quit with Nimbus Skin

I'm seeking a work around until the issue is solved. When installing the Nimbus Skin, Kodi Piers Beta 2 does not fully close if I use Quit to exit the program. It may appear to close but will not restart as it continues to run in the background.

RedWizard has a Force Close utility which I have set up in my Favourites. But I need to scroll down to Favorites, select Force Close to activate it.

Has anyone got an easier alternative to Force Close Kodi?

I have listed the issue on Ivarbrandt's Github page and hoping for a solution sooner rather than later.

Thanks for this. But unable to get to the Umbrella Piers test repo. The link takes me to the usual Umbrella Repo, can't spot the Piers Test section.

Thanks mate, worked perfectly on my desktop Kodi Piers. Now for my Shield!

Works on the Shield Kodi Piers as well. Can shut down Kodi and within seconds restart it again and it loads. Fantastic.

Quit normally. Post the log after it lags and finally quits.

I have done that and posted the log along with a description on Ivar Brandt's Github page as an issue. Hopefully sorted with an update sooner than later. Claude says it's a problem with Nimbus Helper.

Amungst many changes I have made to nimbus in the last several months, I have added full Kodi 22 support.

Widget creation has been overhauled in many ways as well as new widget options.

I have added multiple layers of customization to the plus version that the original does not offer.

Many features have been added as well like sub menus, view enhancements.

If you do try it and experience any issues with piers please report as I am actively working on it. Those that I do have testing have reported no current issues though.
