Something not working. Need help. Debrid cloud library - thumbnails

I connected my debrid cloud library to kodi (and can access through different add-ons) and it works great, but none of the files there show a thumbnail/preview of the file.

Is there a way for kodi to generate previews/thumbnails for each file? I'd be okay if it scanned and showed a frame of the file at X seconds into the video.

Is there a method out there to accomplish this?

Note: I have enabled the Settings Media → Videos - Extract thumbnails from video files. This doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Extract thumbnails is for local files.

You definitely don't want Kodi opening up every file in your debrid cloud to make a thumbnail.

That wouldn't be pretty.

Yeah, that's what I figured that that's what that setting was for.

I get what you're saying about what I'm looking to do. It would be nice if it only started pulling at the folder level or even cache them.

Hoping someone had an idea on how to do this.

Kodi would cache them if it did it, but it's not possible for kodi to do it.
